From another source it doesn’t look like all of innoventions east will be completely destroyed and mouse gears and electric umbrella will have a refurb. It sounds like they are punching a hole between the guest services right there and EU to the future Guardians ride.

Correct. East will have pieces stay. West will be completely different.

Ahhh all these changes! I’m planning a trip to EP and AK for my family (date unknown) and all these changes are really throwing a wrench in what to do.

Why? Disney told us this would be happening last year and it's not affecting any attractions for now, they will figure how to get people in and out of the park

I hadn’t actually heard of so many changes until today! It’s more of “oh now I have to plan for both before and after the changes depending on when we go.”

Yulilin has a point, all these changes don’t affect much besides Starbucks and clubcool. innoventions has been barren of activities for awhile.

True... it’s really more of the new rides and the removal of character spot.

I have literally never done a character meet. My boys were already "too cool" for that when we first took them to Disney.

This upcoming trip was going to be a mommy-daughter trip with my 4-year-old who LOVES all the characters. My plan was to snag a FP for Character Spot to ensure meeting the most iconic characters. Having them spread around Epcot is going to mean a lot more walking and waiting in lines.

Do you think there will be a temporary club cool or is it just gone until they re open? I had factored that into my plan for a quick bit of fun in our October trip

I hadn’t actually heard of so many changes until today! It’s more of “oh now I have to plan for both before and after the changes depending on when we go.”

They announced it during D23 in 2017. Don't get me wrong it will be ugly for a long time but the main components are still there, most of the characters will stay.

So glad that the Meet or Greet with Winnie the Pooh is back in UK, especially if it's still in Christopher Robins room. Even better would be if not only Tigger is with him but also Eeyore...
Hoping it's not only temporary back and will still be there, when my WtP-loving sister is coming with me in 1-2 years

We were hoping the same thing. Plus our group this year will be 12 people. Not so sure we want to wait over and over again, especially if it's an outside line.


I'm surprized they are starting this in the fall. A week after expecting mega crowds for star wars and during the very busy food and wine.

Thank you for keeping us updated-Joy and Sadness were on our must do list for September 9 along with Wreck It Ralph. I guess he will still be in Imagination building somewhere. Here's hoping Joy and Sadness won't be moved out permanently!

based on the tweet shared above I wouldn't expect a temporary Club Cool - rather they point you to the Coke store at Disney springs where you can get the flight of Coke products from around the work, including Beverly

that really is one of the things I am most worried about. I mean, I know some changes/updates are inevitable but if it drastically changes I will be upset
