First life update:

My Aunt.
They were able to move her to Northwestern one good thing about Chicago. We really have the best hospital.
Did i mention she has a hemorrhage? When she had the seizure she apparently hit her head.
She isn't eating much and the drugs has has to take is astronomical.. I mean they make them into power. then add applesauce. ya know applesauce snack packs? Yeah her drugs fill that up alone. it's pretty crazy.
She isn't talking anymore. I don't know how the dementia it affecting her at this point since she can't talk. Just more moves her head. the cancer is spreading as well...
They are making her do therapy which she is suspended with a harness and walking. But it's still a great thing as she is getting some exercise. The bed soars are horrid and cannot believe someone can live like this.. Not quality of life. My mom is really trying to hold it together --- by a string at this point.
Found out one dog has cancer. they removed it.. Then the other dog has some dangerous medical thing going on and don't know how much longer he can live.. So on one weekend they spent over a thousand dollars on dogs...

We need a Mom and daughter weekend get away!

I think i told you all about this money thing? tom's old job like a 401K but isn't? we are waiting on the money to come in? it was supposed to be in last friday.. A WEEK AGO. Tom called to find out what the deal is.
Talking with one of the reps they said.. Who was working on this for you. He said whatever her name was...

I swear whatever UGLY BLACK CLOUD is going on it needs to BLOW OVER!!!
OK fine.. Now we start the process ALL OVER. Last Sunday the garage called.. He went ahead and ordered my new engine. out it in my battleship and she is running like a champ... BUT I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY HIM YET!!!
Good Grief.

So it's back to the waiting game on when the MONEY will come in. Go get my BABY BACK and give my parent's some money for the crazy vet bills they have.


My Job:
The main reason i have not been on here-- is my job.
I have a HUGE project in it's infant stages.. They want me to get a group together to become big Brother. a GPS team.. I will be heading this band of spys--- all vehicles/phones accountability for what goes on in the field. IT's HUGE. we are talking the entire department for city of chicago... crazy. So i have been running reports, finding funding, costs. you name it i am a one man team right now but my boss is putting his foot down to get me some people.
Which would mean a BIG Title transfer MORE MONEY! I will give it a year. If they don't give it to me i am leaving here.

Now you know what's going on on the other side of the computer i think it's time to start the next update!!

Let's talk GOOD NEWS!

I am SO SO HAPPY to tell you all this PAST Sunday i got to meet up with my VERY AMAZING- GREAT FRIEND TESS!!! She was in town for her daughters Graduation So we had made plans to meet up on Sunday.. Sadly it was only for one day but i was able to squish her in REAL LIFE!

So the next question.. WHAT were we going to do?
Well i know she like flowers and stuff and we have never been. So i suggested Chicago Botanical Gardens. Something we have never seen either! Win Win!

Unfortunately is was too late to go to the museum to see the Imagineer who was there for a lecture.
DAMN

So i started to get the kids and i ready when my friend Chunk or Rob (yes we all have nicknames around here) called and asked what was going on. I asked Tess if it was OK if he came along. Of course she said it was fine. So i picked up Chunk who really doesn't fit into my Mom's mountaineer I laugh pretty hard everytime.. and off we went to pick up Tess!

Off we went WAY THE HECK UP NORTH! i mean WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy up North.. I got a nose bleed! LOL

I only have one picture ON MY PHONE as i have not had the chance to edit a gazillion pictures just sitting on my computer waiting patiently for my attention...

We had a great time. truly beautiful there. I wish more was in bloom yet Tess knew every plant flower etc everywhere! she is something else i tell ya!!!

We said our goodbyes and i teared up after we drove off, I cannot begin to tell you all what a wonderful person she is. What a giving loving soul she has!

Mo I'm so sorry about your aunt. My uncle has that same therapy ( with the harness) & it has really helped him regain enough leg strength to transfer from his wheel chair safely. I hope it is good for your aunt too.

We do the 1.5 down Main Street. ​

Ariana reminded me we were supposed to get together this morning to do a wee bit of shopping.. But being on Atkins for SO LONG then hitting up all this food.. I felt.......... Like not going far.. Rolaids was for breakfast AND for lunch. trying to get better no good being sick at the party!!

After their swimming adn a small walk around it was time to get ready and out the door we had a PARTY TO GET TO!
First we had a highly anticipated ADR with ARIANA!!!

there was NO ONE there so we hopped on Tom and Meg took the first seats they saw where the boys and i went to the back of the bus.

I'm glad you made it to BOG on time. The whole monorail closure thing is ridiculous. I don't know how Disney can spend so much time trying to fix some that goes in circles. What the heck are they doing that takes so long?

Chicago Botanic Garden is really far away from our house. It sounds like it was worth the trip, though. That was nice to spend time with Tess, too.

Good for you being in charge of "Big Brother: Chicago!" I hope your new responsibility comes with a big fat raise, but knowing how we work in this city, let's not hold our breath for it to happen quickly

I CANNOT BELIEVE how big your kids look since November!!!!! They've grown SO much. And your guys growing out their hair--this is what I have to look forward to, I guess. I better enjoy Jimmy while he's still curly and I'm in charge of how he styles his hair.

Glad you enjoyed the Botanical gardens. I haven't been there in AGES!!! But I do remember it being BEAUTIFUL. The museum thing with Marty Sklar and the two current Imagineers (Dex Tanksley and Alfredo Ayala) was really interesting but a little unorganized. Rob and I split up for finding seats/picking up a copy of the book. He also went out and saved me a spot in line to get my book autographed afterward. I read online that some people had to wait 3 1/2 hours afterward for the signing!!! That was a little insane. I just loved hearing him talk because he KNEW Walt Disney personally and he has great stories

Thank you! It's the best. But i don't know how much more they can do.. where is the quality of life at this point? She is such a proud person, always put together with fashion. This isn't her.

This was the first time being there! it's quite the treasure! really enjoyed walking around it was like being in a different place!

WEEKEND STUFF! ​

Saturday started out like this:


Dogs on top of dogs...

Then i noticed the time... Meg had a game at 11:00 it was 10:15 i was still in my PJ's!! GAH! fly around get the kids all ready and out the door it was OPENING DAY! and i was late. Thankfully Tom was already out there helping set up the fields and concession... oops.
Job #2 called and told me to have a nice day so i didn't have to go in! Which means i was able to go to the boys game! YAY! Meg's team (turtles) Lost BUT meg is becoming a good player and i am proud of her for trying! Only took 6 years for her to get a great coach who actually teaches the kids how to play.
The boys game was awful. Ump was totally against them the calls were horrendous. it was sad to watch.
Ended up at friends of ours for a BBQ that night! it was AWESOME! Finally relaxing time with some friends! YAY!

Sunday Chunk wanted to go to a flea market! FUN!

I woke up LATE like after 6 late.. Oops

After everyone left for school and well someone had to go to work Tom.
I was getting everything ready to start paying the bills... BLAH!

Call my Mom someone needs to come with me or i am leaving her car behind! Stopped at the bank got he $5039.33 cashier check... <--- Yes it hurt but

I am ok. This money was strictly for my car.

Lickety split i was there. and the beautiful site of my battleship was before me!!!! OH GLORIOUS DAYS!
I gave the mechanic a hug. Paid chit chatted a little and off we went. I told my Mom i would take her to Lunch. She hasn't had it easy with my Aunt / dogs me having her car for over a month She needed a day out.
We went to Olive Garden! Yum! Another not so Atkins thing. after an hour of stuffing our faces and slowly my stomach turning it was time to go...

Yep. Antifreeze. as soon as i started my car all the red lights and bells started going off..
Call Tom He calls Mechanic who is on his way to me.

As you can see it goes from my car all the way to my Mom's which is two cars down from mine


Apparently the clamp from the hose broke off- he has never seen that happen in 38 years of doing this-- blah blah blah... I had to call Job #2 and let them know i wasn't going to be able to make it in...

Car fixed yet again and i was off on my way HOME. Had to stop on the way to get the outside washed it was NASTY. the inside smells and is filthy. Hoping today to take it somewhere to have it cleaned.

Off to Peanut's game Tom went to the boys game. We were losing BAD until peanut went up to bat who got a double with 2 RBI!! Our first score!!! I was never more proud!! this is her first year to have a coach who COACHES and teaches the kids! she is doing so much better and shes is starting to LIKE IT!! YAY PEANUT!


It help her coach is also president of the kids football Cheerleading team Bulldogs! LOVE HIM!

The boys made it to the game they lost but Zack and Matt did well

Flea Market finds though!?! How AWESOME!! We have an old Mickey phone that was my Uncle's. It's the exact same one they have at POP where the yellow phone hangs up on Mickey's hand and just dangles in the air. I am in love with it, but since we don't have a landline anymore it just kind of sits there. Sigh. It would work if I wanted to pay for phone service though!

Oh my goodness gracious Mo! I do hope the dark cloud passes soon; you guys are good people and deserve some good stuff.

Glad that Peanut is liking softball so much. I was not much of an athlete as a child (nor as an adult) but I did really like to play. Builds character.

And the car, oof. Hopefully this is the last of it for a very long time.

But the Botanical garden sounds fun, and the kids are so big! Those boy are quickly becoming young men.
