What is your Westie’s name?
Sweet names! What is your Westie’s name?
My current westie is Obi, in the first post. My previous Westie’s were Schroeder, Dexter, and Dodger.
I also just pulled an 8 year old male westie from a local shelter to foster. His name is Champ.

My Cairn is a cousin! I read that at one time, years ago, they were considered the same breed (?), but later became distinguished by their different colors and had a name change. Believe it or not, mine was wheaten in color when he was young (first pic here); he turned grey as he got older (second)! I’ve mixed up some dogs who were light and thought they were Westies when they were actually Cairns.Sweet names!
That's Charlie in the photo being carried by my brother. We'd just concluded a two hour walk in a park alight with lights and sculptures. Beautiful setting! Tired little legs out though.

This is Oliver, our miniature Aussiedoodle. We got him this past June, from a neighbor who is a breeder. He was 11 months old at the time. We have never had a small dog before. In the past we’ve had large dogs, our previous one was a chocolate Lab. But with our lifestyle now we thought a small dog would be better. He is really a sweet little boy, I just wish he would stop chasing my cat

And this is my cat, Meesha. She turned 4 in July. She is very cuddly, a great lap cat, but still doesn’t like the dog![]()
I love black labs. We had one for several years. It seems all labs have that loving, kind spirit! They are wonderful!Pre-tree trimming, but she’s pretty comfortable on the big ottoman.

That's her camoflauge spot!
That's the story of her life! I have a black fuzzy blanket where she just disappears. It's nearly impossible to see her if it's dark. During her housebreaking days as a puppy, we had to keep a light on her each time we took her out in the yard at night.
