That as the final selling point for me. When I went through Tom Bricker's review I realized that the wide aperture is worth paying for. I hope shipping is fast. I went for expedited .... not patient waiting for new gear

There is a new version of this lens coming out...they had said April but it doesn't seem to be out as of yet (but apparently available in Japan).

Don't know if the price will then drop on the current version. Keep an eye on it in case it comes out within your return period!
