Leno has Sunk to a New Low - WARNING ADULT CONTENT

Hmm, it finally pays for men to play with themselves. they didn't listen to their mothers.

....can't wait for wednesday nite!!!! Thanks for the heads up!!!

Yeah, I caught a bit of their act on HBO too.

Whatever tickles your fancy.........

If these guys twisted another part of the body, like a thumb, arm or leg, nobody would have a problem with it. But because its a "forbidden" body part, its all of the sudden a sin. It just shows how uptight Americans are about what is seen on their tv.

The odd thing is that I would expect Letterman to have these guys- you know, like "Stupid Human Tricks" and so forth..

Hilarious! I'll watch. I'm sure it won't
live up to it's potential.

i don't see any posts saying that these guys are "sinners" or whatever you're implying. it just doesn't belong on network tv.

I dont think it belongs on network TV but other than that... who cares? They arent hurting anyone. It isnt like they are doing anything immoral or illegal.

As for Leno selling out? I have to disagree too, actors do promo's its what they do. I dont see it as selling out at all I just see it as another part of the "act".
Just M2CW

Wasn't Wayne Brady talking about this Puppetry show on his show??? I bet Jay will just talk to the guys. They can't show the organ on network tv. Could be humorous.....

It's on a late night show so I don't have a problem with it. I usually watch Letterman, but I might have to tune in for this.

Obviously they won’t show anything, but I think it would be pretty funny to hear them talk about it. I saw it on HBO too and I thought it was hilarious. I’m just curious, what is it about this that is so upsetting to some of you? It just seems to me that people would be a lot happier if they spent less time worrying about seeing or hearing something “dirty.” I’m getting a little sensitive about overreactions to minor things when I’m living in a time and place where I have to be concerned about being randomly shot in the head as I’m running an errand or being involved in a terrorist attack. Somehow, people making funny shapes with their *****es doesn’t seem like a huge problem to me.

goofygirl,

Are you SERIOUS???

Are you comparing a thumb arm or leg to the part they're manipulating?????

This is hardly about being UPTIGHT, that's common sense. I'm willing to bet someone touching a thumb arm or leg would be construed differently than someone touching THAT part of the body....

I happen to know that the censors won't let them "perform" but I'm sure based on the amount of ink it's getting on this board, Leno made no mistake to market this product. After all, it's all about getting the people to watch, isn't it??

As for selling out, a 30 second commercial can generate more money than a network show that takes you away from your family most of the season. If money is the motivator, it only makes sense...

Leno's been sinking since about last year. His jokes are dry, his skits are lame, and he's just plain mean. Fame has corrupted him, and he won't be getting better any time soon. Conan O'Brien is ten times better.

Maybe they're going to demonstrate with "props"?:p But what would they use????.

But I have to agree that the tonight show isn't very funny anymore. Neither is letterman. I'd much rather watch O'Brien or Stewart on Comedy Central. Too bad Arsenio isn't on anymore

When we drive into NYC from NJ we always pass the theater where Puppetry of the ***** is running. (was running?) My two sons go wild laughing and yelling when they see the signs for the show. I will never forget the first time I had to explain to them what the show was about. (a true father and son(s) moment)

Here is a link to a review of the show:

PS – they haven’t asked me about Urinetown or The ****** Monologues yet.

I have no comment on Leno, but I have to say at the risk of being attacked I think Puppetry is kinda neat. I saw the feature on HBO and was fascinated but at the same time grossed out - I still found it funny though. I had no idea the male genitalia could do stuff like that. I'm totally up for seeing the show here in New York - still trying to convince my slightly more prude roommate :p

I actually saw the show in New York and it was pretty hysterical. Is it great theatrical art? No. But it was funny! No, they obviously can't show them doing their act on network television, but I don't see why they shouldn't have them on to talk about it. It certainly wouldn't be any more graphic than most other things you see on television these days.

Sorry but I find it hillarious! Hey people have done much worse to be famous. I'm sure however Leno does this it won't be x-rated for TV but when I followed the link I started laughing and had to call John to look, he also laughed at it. I don't think its really appropriate for Leno but would be hillarious on HBO.

I have no opinion here or there re leno and the guests he booked. just had to say it was just entertaining reading some of these posts and how people react. thanks for the laughs :D. just a reminder the tv does have an off button.
