I need to borrow about 190 fingers for some serious counting . . . we arrive in Disney on 11th October . . . the DIS countdown thingy says I can book my ADR's on 13th April, but TourGuide Mike says its the 14th :sad2:

Only me!!!!!

Does anyone happen to arrive on the same day, who can save me the bother of counting each day?!!!! I had booked the 14th off work already to do it (call me sad!) now I am stressing I need to swap the day (also stressed someone at work might ask why I am having the day off, and it might slip out without thinking :scared1:! They think its bad enough I have a Disney calender above my desk!!! . . .).

Well, I'm no help because I get the 15th April :confused3 I worked it out like this:

May - 31 days
June - 30 days
July - 31 days
August - 31 days
September - 30 days

= 153 days

11 days in October

= 164 days

So you can book 16 days before the end of April, which is the 15th.

I think our ADR date is 22 April and we leave on 19 October, does that help?

I've just realised I've been asked to do overtime on our ADR day and I agreed without thinking :scared1:! Can't really back out now without giving a reason. Ho hum!

This happened to me last year and I think it's some strange time difference thing and not just that I can't count....

I too booked the day off and it was when ADRs were 90 days and the online ADRs were just emerging - stressful!!!

Anyway I called Disney and asked what my ADR day was which solved the problem for me :goodvibes

My check in date is the 2nd and my 180 days was yesterday. I work yours out to be on the 14th (add 9 days to mine). If you want to check, this is the calculator I have always used and it is accurate according to the one on my Disney Vacation on the WDW website. Just remember date format is month first, then day. :goodvibes

I make it the 15th. I counted from my arrival date(10th sept) and then my ADR date (14th march)... To be safe I would just call Disney dining and ask!

aw...now you've got me all stressed...and confused !!

I arrive October 8th and had worked out my ADR date as the 11th....

What about if you look at what day the wdw website will let you book dining up to today? Then couldn't you just add on the days? Make sure you look after 12pm just to be on the safe side that the next day has been added.

Yarr, if you check the online reservation system it actually grey's out the dates beyond 180 days (unless you enter your reservation for the +10) so you could back track it via that.

I go on the 7th and "think" mine is the 10th April so your 4 days behind so should be 14th

Yeah, that's what I'd do. To be honest though, I don't think a day or two will make a difference as ADRs appear to be quite easy to come by this year.

nope.. my date has already passed, though im not making any dining reservations, cuz i have no clue what we are gonna feel like that day, we might want pasta, or to go to the 50's prime time cafe, or stay at the resort for pizza, or go off site.. so we are just gonna play it by ear..

I've made an executive decision, I'm going for the 14th! All the countdown clocks apart from the DIS one say its the 14th . . . I have a bridesmaid dress fitting at 1pm that day though - how inconvenient!!!!!!:rotfl2: People should really plan around my ADR schedule much more carefully!

Thanks for all your help!
