For both the park and the hotel. The website says encouraged. I couldn’t get a straight answer from the hotel customer service rep. She wouldn’t come out and say either way. Where I live, encouraged means if you want to. And no one does. So I’m just trying to figure out if they actually mean it’s mandatory. I don’t want to waste my time or money if they are requiring them. Thank you!

This is what I see on the website for the park and hotel:
As we continue our efforts to align with CDC guidance, we recommend that all guests wear face masks in all indoor locations at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort. We will rely on our Theme Park, Water Park and Hotel guests to accurately follow the guidelines. Face coverings are required for Model Citizens (employees) working in any indoor location across the Resort and any who are not fully vaccinated, in accordance with CDC guidance. LEGOLAND Florida Resort remains committed to making our guests feel safe to play by maintaining intense daily cleaning procedures and our more than 200 hand sanitizing stations.

Thank you, I did see that. We had a local park that also “recommended” it and that doesn’t mean require. I did email them, but I haven’t heard back yet. I was hoping to find someone who had maybe been there to verify what I suspect, which is that they are not requiring them. The vacation package I’m looking at is non- nonrefundable so hopefully will hear back soon.

I would wait too but then again it requires them for staff, but only recommends them for guests. We would fight it if we went and they gave us a hard time.

That’s true. I will definitely fight it if that’s what it comes to and I’m already there, but think it will turn out to be voluntary. Thank you!!! 😊

Was there today signs for masks indoors but no one really kept them on. Even the staff had masks under their noses.

Nothing to do with masks but I do not plan on returning unless the tickets are close to free.. we did about 6 or 7 rides lines were 10-30 min not many food options, stayed about 5 hours. Tickets were bogo $125 but when compared to other places for the price point it just didn't have much to offer. Hershey or Busch gardens va is about the same price point and there is so much more to do.. my kiddo said he even liked sesame place better and he is pretty old for sesame.
