We are going to Disney the last week of August/first week of Sept. I priced out 1 night at the LEGOLAND hotel and it was $350. Are they kidding me. That is with nothing, just the room. Are people really paying those prices?

It includes free breakfast!

The price is probably the rack rate with no discounts. By comparison, the Poly rack rate is $500 a night and includes no breakfast.

I would wait and see if the price drops. For example, right now you can book it for around $250 for early December on a weekend and around $120 for Florida residents midweek.

From all the pictures and videos I've seen of the hotel it's highly overpriced, free breakfast or no free breakfast.I guess they figure they're 30 miles away from the Orlando hotels, its located right onsite and its Lego themed, although in my opinion the theming is not overly impressive.

You are there the last week of August and first week of September? I just popped in Tuesday, September 6th and came up with a nightly rate of $105 per night for the adventure room ($84 with the 20% early booking discount). Even on the Labour Day weekend, Saturday September 3rd is only $180 a night. The Kingdom and Pirate rooms are the same price as well.

We are going in April for Spring break. I booked through Priceline and got 2 nights for $270 including fees. Week day rates are definitely lower than weekend.

It's not that far from Disney and don't think it's a 2 day park. Just do a day trip.

You're looking to travel during one of the busiest times of the year: end of Summer and Labor Day Weekend. Plus, you're looking 9 months out. From a revenue management perspective, it's smart to try to get the highest rates at this point. They may get lucky and find enough 152 people willing to pay that rate. (The hotel has 152 rooms.) If not, they can always lower prices in the future.

FYI. Legoland is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in September 2016.

I was looking over this the other day and saw that they were about $220 per night for a themed room. You can always check their website for exact pricing info.

Wow, thank you. I put in August but perhaps we can go at the end of our vacation. Thanks.

I don't think it's the busiest time of the year. Most children are back in school the last week of August/first week of Sept., plus its blazing hot in the
summer, so no it's not the busiest. We go to Disney this time of the year and crowds levels are good
