well thanks for making me go out and spend money !!! Geez ! I'm glad this wasn't on the budget board.....

Got all but 3.... Mime, Weightlifter, and surfer... have 4 doubles, pharaoh, hombre, witch, and jungle explorer.

I got 2 weight lifters!! lol We should probably start an exchange!

Well I was the crazy lady at Target today with the printed sheets with the UPCs and comparing them to the packages. And I somehow messed up and ended up with 2 duplicates!! Some of the lines were really similar. Plus my old eyes aren't as good as they used to be. I still need to find 2 more.

Wonder if security was watching me!!

Checked my packages again this morning and realized I do have the mime.

Today, when I went, I used the bar codes I printed from an earlier post on this thread. Then I saw that someone used their phone. I used the App RedLaser on the ones I bought today here at home and it WORKED. You have to use the LEGO UPC code...not the normal UPC code.

Now I will go back and look for the 2 we are missing and I won't have to look at all of those teenie tiny lines to compare.

You know, I tried red laser earlier in the week and it would not work on the second barcode... I scanned a pack just now and it IS working!!!

We still need the witch, somehow I got mixed up and ended up with a second jungle explorer. Totally figures since that is the one I tried to tell DS10 we really did not need to buy (he has a few Indiana Jones sets).

I grabbed a few at Target but they didn't have many left so I just ordered the limit (16) on Lego.com.
Does anyone know if you order 16 they send you all different ones or could you end up with 16 of the same?

I believe it is 16 different so it is just luck.

My friend that ordered from lego.com got a few duplicates in her 16. She has 2 boys so didn't really care and for her it was easier than hunting retail for them.

Did anyone else notice they FINALLY came out with a new style advent for this year? We were so tired of the city ones and pirates last year was only avail in Europe. This year they have Kingdom and City advents so if your out and will need one, pick it up early because they will go quick!

ARGH I went back to my Target today to get the 2 I somehow missed yesterday and they were WIPED OUT!!! ALL GONE!! In less then 24 hours. Someone must have bought them all. There were 3 cases!!!

So frustrating!!

I got these today. They were in the Halloween section at Target. I felt a tad foolish trying to decipher the barcodes but I THINK I got 5 different ones LOL They were $2.99. They also had little packets with a man and a helicopter for $2.99 so I got those, too.

I also spotted them at our TRU with the Lego stuff but I didn't have my cheat sheet so I passed them by. I meant to get the sheet when I took my bags to the car so I could go back in but I was so tired I just left If they have some next time I go I will have the sheet in my purse, if not 5 will have to do it!

I noticed the new advent, just waiting for this weeks pay check and I plan on buying the advent, mini figures and preordering a Harry Potter set.

Borders carries the advent calender and you can use a coupon on it. There was a 40% off one recently, if you google it you can find it to see if its not expired.

I haven't been up to mine yet, but on another board I frequent there were people posting that they used the coupon on them, so some stores must have them already. They will probably be stocking them all soon

Just wanted to thank you all for the info on this thread. I tried my Target and TRU last week. I didn't have any luck, but did get advice from a manager at TRU. He said to find out what day your local TRU gets their truck (for me it's Thursday) and to come in or call that day to find out if they received any lego minifigs. He said they keep theirs by the service counter because they go so quickly and they have a limit of 4 per customer.

I placed an order on lego.com today for the advent calendar and another set I can't find anywhere else (Pizza Planet truck), so I added the 1.99 minifigs to my order since I already had free shipping.

The Borders near me has the City Advent calendar in stock right now.

I had already ordered the Kindgoms one and now I'm going to use my Borders coupon for the City one!

I've been checking my Target every morning when they open for the last 2 weeks. ONCE I found 3 packets. I've asked a few people that work there, they brushed me off saying they are still setting up Halloween. One of the employees was brisk, saying it's just Sept,etc. Um then explain why you are setting up Christmas too LOL?
