Lego coupons or discounts?!

I second the PP who mentioned Borders--they don't have EVERYTHING, but they have something in most lego categories (i.e. bionicles, star wars, space police, etc.). They have toys - buy 2 get one free and almost ALWAYS have an online printable coupon for 30% off any one item and even sometimes 40% any one item.

I am intrigued by the lego.com offer...would love to hear more if anybody knows!!!

Good luck all!

Lego.com will have $10 off of $100, $20 off of $200, and $30 off of $300, along with free shipping over $99

If you go to any Lego store on Black Friday they will be giving rub off tickets for either 10, 30 or 50% off.

We were at the King of Prussia store near Philadelphia and the clerk there told us about it. We also signed up for their new savings card. For those that have the old punch cards like you get at Downtown Disney, you can add the value of those old cards to your new card at any Lego store. Unfortunately, the rewards program is not good online, only the store.

Hope that helps someone. I don't know what time the promo will start on the lego site on black Friday though. Sorry.

We are a lego loving family too! I have had the green grocer market sitting on my living room floor now for over a week but DS6 works on it everyday! He is down to the last 200 or so pieces out of 2352 and has done it all on his own!

I just did the buy 2 get 1 deal at borders on some star wars sets. Skipped TRU this year but have done that deal several times in the past years. That deal always is the last of September. They are quite consistant!

I hit Aldi's this week also. They had some with a decent discount (about 25% off). I pick legos up all the time when I find a deal and just put them in the closet for later. The lego store is one of the best places to find a deal here or there.

I have only been once on black friday to the actual store and there was no discount offered. It was probably 4 years ago and later on in the evening so not sure if they had done something that morning or not.

Im waiting to see what lego.com has around BF. I also have a 10% coupon from target for legos that is good until 12/24 so Im going to see what I can get for ds. Most of the items he wants are on lego.com. I just ordered the toy shop for him thru ebay and had to pay like $2.00 more than what lego.com would of charged for shipping/tax since it was a 13-15 day business day shipping and his bday is next week.. :confused3

I have one too only it's for 15% off. It my choice of Legos, transformers or starwars toys purchase of $15 or more. It printed out when I bought the Lego advent calendar. Same transaction I also got one for for $5 off any purchase of $75 or more and any purchase of $100 or more. The cashier told me it's a random thing probably triggered by something I bought.

A PP mentioned the lego value card..can someone tell me what that is? A lego store just opened up at my local mall and if i am going to be investing in these things i would like to know what this value card is. Does it cost anything? Do you save any $$?

My DS is also a lego lover and has several sets and jus tlikes to build as well. If you go to the Lego.com site, they have a cute holiday extras section with directions on building small holiday themed items. You can save/print the PDF of the instructions, and they are adding 2 more within the next 2 weeks.

Also - if any lego lovers are in the CT area, this weekend is Lego Kids Fest in Hartford. You can go to the website (Legokidsfest.com) and if you enter SAVE as the code, you can get tickets ahead of time for $4 off the door price ($2 off the advance price). It is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

DH is taking DS to that on Saturday, and I'm sure he'll be coming home with some sets as well. I'd love for them to find some motor sets. DS did a lego camp this summer (Playwell Teknologies) that he loved and they built very cool things with moto sets that I can't find!!!

It is called a VIP card and free. Our store just switched over the end of October. They used to have a stamp program but this is much better. After you spend $100 you'll get $5. I am not sure how they go about redeeming them exactly. I assume they'll scan your card and it will show the $5 credit. I have 250 points (so spent $250) but haven't gone back since that purchase.

MMmomto5 I just got really excited about your post, but then reality just hit me. We are in Disney for thanksgiving and are going to DTD on BF. I was just so excited thinking about the discount b/c my boys are so excited to buy a set as their souvenir and now they could make their money go farther. But, the reality is probably that DTD store won't do the sale b/c things never go on sale at Disney?? What do you all think? Anyone experienced a discount at the lego store in DTD on BF? That could make my kid's trip.

We have seen sales here and gotten a few good deals. I wouldn't count it out on some kind of sale.
