I posted about this a few weeks back and I know a lot of people ordered them like I did. Did you start today??? I gave mine to DS this morning and he was really excited. He opened day 1 and I was surprised as it was only 4 or 5 little pieces .....It seems that day 1, 2 and 3 are 1, day 4, 5 and 6 are another, etc. Is this right? I thought it was going to be a little figure put together for each day. Oh well, he is still excited about it I think.

I didn't order this year's version, but I have ordered for the last two years.

In the past, you got a different thing to make each day. They didn't have many pieces, but they would make either a figure or some other piece of a set (i.e. you might just make a sleigh for Santa one day). Eventually you would have enough pieces for some type of scene. I vaguely remember that the pieces towards the end of the calendar were a little better than the pieces earlier on.

That is what I thought it would be, but even on the back of the box it showed Day 1, 2 and 3 open and the little pieces next to each day and it making something after day 3. Kinda strange. There was just a tiny little bag that had maybe 5 pieces in it. By day 3 I think it is supposed to be a construction worker next to a one of those caution sign things.

I also bought some of the little 30-40 holiday pieces they had on the website, a Santa, Snowman and Elf I think it was.

My kids are soooooooooo hyped up for this tonight.

I am excited to see their faces when they realize that they have to share a few tiny pieces
