Lego Advent Calendar ..

Our Target had them for 39.99 and you got a $10 gift card with purchase. I'm not sure if this is just in our area. I didn't see the gift card offer online. You could also use the $5 off Lego coupon from the Toy book they mailed out.

Was this in the ad this week? Price on line is still $49.99.

I looked up the circular online and it lists the price at $49.99 and a $10 gift card with purchase. There is a $5 off coupon in the Christmas book I got. So it brings the price down to $44.99. You get the gift card still (have to spend 39.99). In our circular, a Ninjago set was pictured for $39.99. And that price was more prominent than the price of the advent calendar. So maybe there is confusion? Or it's cheaper in some locations?

Thank you for posting this! I knew it was coming soon - some sort of sale so I was holding out! Now - I'm sending DH up there tonight to grab it with the gift card offer and $5 off coupon! :cool1:

I see the Star Wars one is $49.99 and the Lego City one is $39.99 online - is that the discrepancy? Not sure which one you were after? Like Lisalis mentioned, I also don't see the $10 gift card deal online? I'm assuming Lisalis was referring to the Lego City one, but I could be wrong. :goodvibes

Thanks again,
Heather

I just ordered from Amazon UK the Lego Friends Advent Calendar this morning for $33 shipped. It won't be here until around the 17th but that's before we would start it so I'm ok with that. Seemed like a decent price, especially since I was even able to order one and below the MSRP. So if anyone is looking for that one, you might consider ordering from the UK. I picked up a Star Wars LEGO advent last year after Christmas for half off from Target, so DS will get that one, and DD will have her own.

Well done, I ordered from the Down Town Disney *Disneyland Resort* Lego store earlier this week *it arrived yesterday. I paid $35 + $12 in shipping so I added a $12 LOTR set for DS to make shipping worth it *the extra item did not increase my shipping costs.

Should've gone the route you did...

Does anyone know if Target will price match Amazon, or does it have to be a paper advertisement from another store? I know Walmart will not match online prices.

As of a few minutes ago Amazon is selling the Lego City Advent Calendar for $31.99 and it qualifies for free shipping ! :goodvibes I also bought my son the LEgo City Sticker book for $10. I can sometimes find them at TJ Maxx but not this one and he LOVES the sticker books !

I don't know if this is across the board, but I was at the DTD Lego store on Saturday and they had the Star Wards advent calendar on sale. Regular $49 on sale for $39. I decided not to buy it ... and now I'm wondering if I should have. DD is very into Star Wars and Lego, but doesn't even know the advent calendar exists, so it's pretty much something I'd buy for me and cause myself trouble year after year, lol.

Just looked at the Lego Friends one - its so cute DD would love it but I dont know if I can spend $50 on an advent calendar... OUCH

If you have shopko in your area, the flyer in the mail yesterday had the city calendar for $29 and the Star Wars for $39. My insert also had a spend $40 get $10 off pealie on the front.

Hope that helps someone!

Yoyo.com has a 30% code (YOYO30) for first time customers that is good for 1 toy and legos are included. They have the Advent calenders in stock, the Star Wars one is 44.99 and with the 30% off its $31.49. Flat rate shipping $4.99 or free on orders over $49

I took mmkk's advice and bought it from amazon.co.uk. It came to $33 and change. DD8 loves lego friends. I could not justify spending 50+ on it, but $33 isn't so awful.

I had been following this thread and was hoping to score a good deal.

I was grocery shopping Saturday morning at our local HEB (Texas based grocery store) and they had 20% off all toys that day only. That included the Lego City Advent Calendar, which was regularly priced at $29.99.

I snagged it for under $24 (well, plus tax)! Wish I had gotten another.

My brother in the Austin area, found the same regular price of $29.99, but they didn't have the 20% off deal.

(Last year all HEB stores had 20% off all toys, but their Lego selection is very limited.)

Just was in Target they had both Advent Calendars Star Wars and the other one for 39$ 10% off.

For those who have purchased on the Lego UK, is shipping included in that $33?? How long would it take to get to us in the US?

Can someone post a pic of what it actually looks like? The only thing I see online is a chepa plastic tray, no dates or anything on it. I'm a bit confused.

I've never asked with Target but my experience is that they don't honor online prices, unless it's a business with brick and mortar stores as well (like Best Buy).

The price I paid included shipping. I'll let you know when it arrives. My experience ordering from the UK is that things arrive quickly. But then I live on the East coast, so it doesn't have to travel that far.
