Leftover "plus" options on older tickets

I have two park hopper plus passes from several years ago. All the theme park days have been used, but each has 2 plus options left. I read that the biometrics are being used on leftover theme park days on old passes, but what if only plus options are left? In other words, if my son uses one plus to go to a water park in March, will he be the only one that can use the remaining plus option?

I don't believe so.

I'm pretty sure the biometrics are being used ONLY at the 4 major theme parks. Pleasure Island, Wide World of Sports, and the water parks do not use the biometrics as far as I know.

When we went to disneyquest we had to use the biometrics thing...we didn't go to any water parks though

We used our old pluses and had no idea which belonged to who(m??). The old ones are technically not good at Disney Quest, however. Ones purchased from Jan '05 are. We asked at the gate and they told us the policy, but also told us to take the old pass over to guest relations who very eagerly converted it to a DQ pass. They said they're doing this all the time. I guess it realln never does hurt to ask!! :sunny:

Thanks for the responses! It would be great if they could be converted to plus passes that have DQ on them!

I used an old plus to go to Typhoon Lagoon last week. No biometric reader there.

Pleasure Island does not have biometrics, however, all Walt Disney World ticket media must be used by the same person all, and any time they are used.

Disney Quest does have biometrics.

Yes, it does state that on the tickets. However, the plus options on my old PHP passes have been used by several people (including me), and will be used by my son and maybe his friend in March. And without biometrics at the water parks, WDW will never know who used them.
