left over ddp credits?

We have the DDP for our upcoming Dec 17 -27 trip. We have character dining ressies for each day, but I'm wondering if I don't use my counter service or snack credits some of the days is their some where I can use them for goodies to take home? I think I saw on another thread somewhere that there was a place in DTD (I think it said Goofy's) that you could use snack credits for cookies and such to go? Can counter service credits be used toward snacks? We've never used the DDP so any info about how it works would be great. THANKS!

We got back at 1am this morning. On our last day we had 11 cs credits left!! We all ate 1 for a breakfast at Wolfgang Puck Express which left us 6. We then used 5 to get sandwhiches at Earl of Sandwhich. We still had some of the make your own candies left from Goofy's Candy, so we didn't get more but if you haven't done it, they are great. It took all 5 of us just to finish one. There is one and a half in our fridge right now!! The sandwhiches lasted us for the 2 day trip home!! We took the remaining counter service and snack credits (we had 6) and got breakfast stuff from the Boardwalk bakery and that fed us breakfast yesterday and today with still some left over. We all decided the ddp was WAY too much food and we wouldn't do it even if it were free next time. It was fun to try it, but we all felt sick of eating so much at the end.. and I am so sick of chocolate... how can that be. I don't even want to finish that Goofy snack.

Don't you plan on eating more than one meal a day? You may want to look around and find some CS meals that you can use for meals during your trip.

There are lots of good CS meals to be had out there.

We'll be making breakfast in the villa before we head out to the parks and our dinner ressies are all around 4:30. DH is a heavy eater but DD and I are not, and I don't want to stuff myself to use all of the credits. So, I am wondering if there are some other places we could use our credits on the last day to have on the way home.

A lot of the shops will let you get some sort of packaged snack that you can take home. There was a place in DHS that we got some goodies for the trip home, but I don't remember the name. I know there was a similar place in MK. And yes Goofy's has lots of stuff you can take home. Or even at some of the resorts you can get things like bags of chips, donuts, etc.
Rather than making breakfast in the villa, you could just run out to the counter service and bring back a couple things. I've bought donuts and fruit bowls, or just get one or two of their breakfasts.

Well, we drive, so this may not help, but I see you are in NC so maybe you are driving too.
We had 6 CS meals left last time. I went to Earl of Sandwich and get 3 sandwiches and 3 chicken cesar salads, 6 bottled drinks and 6 deserts and paked them in the cooler. Later that night when we stopped we had a nice and free dinner for everyone. We are hoping it works out this way again.

We used our extras for baghs of cracker and cookies for the flight home.

I'll give them to kids and family for extra souveniers. We didn't have a ton of time to ask about every item we were interested in using the snack credits for. Figured they would ship the lollys with the rest of the souveniers we bought at WOD, but they said no.

We were on the DxDDP and we had 8 credits left over......just enough for room service.

We ordered at late lunch at the quiet pool on day of check out. Appetizer, meal, dessert and beverage (tip is included in room service)

What a FABULOUS way to end our trip.

Our last day we had 12 CS and 12 snacks left over. We had brownie sundae's for breakfast at Mrs. Potts and we had Cosmic Rays for lunch. So we still had six of each left. We stopped at Main Street Bakery and used the remaining CS to get sanwiches, baked yummies and waters. We took the sadwiches to eat on the flight. I gave waters away to people coming into the park since we couldn't take liquids through airport security. We used the last of our snack credits on Jack Skellington cookies (DS is a Nightmare Before Christmas junkie).

I have a Dole Whip Float addiction, alas we never have any snacks left...last time we were at WDW, we had cs credits left. I went to grab sandwiches at Roaring, and found I had one more cs left than I thought, so I "paid" for one of the meals of the family behind me. (They did not have the dining plan from the sound of things). I just grabbed one of the trays and said "This, too"....The CM didn't raise a fuss, in fact, he said "That is the nicest thing I have seen in a long time!" and rang the meal up under my DP.

Chocolate chunk peanut butter cookies. Man I think those things weigh a pound each. And they are awesome. We had 10 leftover snack credits. They are great for snacks on the way home.

We did that too (when I posted before I was referring to snack credits). With our leftover CS credits we walked around DTD until we found people who we could buy meals for. LOL People were really surprised. It's better that than the meals going unused.
