LeFou's Brew yes or no?

Had it today for the first time. Way too sweet. I like apple cider/juice & mango but this was too tart, Butterbeer is better in my opinion. :)

Blech. Frozen apple juice isn't my thing I guess.

I do like the comment about stirring in the foam, I may try that and see if my opinion changes!

DD said it tasted like a cider slushie. Of course it tasted better in a $10 souvenir mug :). We all shared it and while I wouldn't rush back to buy it, it was worth trying.

I just had to chime in here that LeFou's Brew is NOT the exact same thing as Red's Apple Freeze at DCA. The DCA version is carbonated while LeFou's is not.

What do you guys think of it for those that have had it? Is it worth trying? What does it taste like?

Teresa

Loved it!! We got one and shared it. Next time, there will be NO sharing!! We each want our OWN!!! It became my favorite Disney drink!! Beats out any alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink I have ever had at Disney!

We were silly and tasted each layer. The apple tasted just like apple juice turned slushie. The marshmello tastes like marshmello. The foam of mango and passion fruit, was our least favorite. But after mixing it all together...WOW!!! Pure deliciousness.

They sell the same drink at Disney California Adventure in Carsland
(only they call it " Red's Apple Freeze.")

It's frozen apple juice (think frozen lemonade) with a whipped "toasted marshmallow"
topping.

We liked it very much.

(We even went back a few hours later and each bought a second cup of the stuff.)

.

We had some and won't bother buying it again. But I thought the sign said apple juice with toasted marshmallow flavoring and topped with mango foam.

You are right. The picture I took of the sign in the Tavern says Frozen apple juice with a hint of toasted marshmello and topped with all-natural Passion Fruit-Mango Foam

I have to say I didn't like it, and I do like apple juice. I really just wanted the cups, so it was worth it from that point of view. It's worth a try once. :thumbsup2

I've had two so far and love it! I do not like apple juice and don't really care too much for cider but I love this drink! I do like my sweets though ;)

You can add me to the like list. My fiancee and I got a goblet and a stein and both finished them while we waited in line for Voyage. Great treat, not something I'd get every trip. I like the foam part better on butterbeer, but the actual drink part better at Disney.

DH and I both had one last week and each enjoyed it. I say try it out once for yourself.

It sounds like the Butterbeer experience: you'll either love it or hate it but it's worth buying one for the cup.

We're excited to try it on Nov. 3rd!
