Leaving tomorro. Lunch at MK will be our first meal...where would you eat?

We're flying out tomorrow night and staying at the Hampton Inn..checking in at AKL early Saturday, then heading to MK. Our first meal on property will be lunch at MK...where would you eat?

Defiantly Tonys town square for the pooh and friends character lunch! I keep hearing such nice things about it and cant wait to go in November. If you go enjoy yourself and have a wonderful trip. Also, let us know how you liked it!!

Looks like you'll get there right after us! And, staying at AKL! This is our first time at AKL, I'll report as soon as I return. A character lunch would be cool, I doubt we could get in on a Saturday without PS, but we might give it a shot.

Hi jennymouse! Well, if it were me... I'd be too antsy to sit for long on my first day at MK, so I'd want a good but quick lunch. I love the clam chowder at Columbia Harbor House, if it's cool outside. If it's warm outside, then I'd go for a wrap at Pecos Bill's.

I'd say you're right. It'll probably be one of those two. My tummy is wanting some chowder right now!

The Plaza restaurant is also a nice option for "lighter" food - soups, sandwiches, etc.

PLAZA, PLAZA, PLAZA!!!!

Plaza Restaurant (not to be confused with Plaza Pavillion) is delicious. The turkey sandwich I had in July was probably one of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is charming....

Have to agree with the Plaza. We "discovered" this on our last trip and loved it. Nice atmosphere, good food.

Tell us about it when you return...I go in a week.

We always do lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern...it's a quiet place and good food. Have fun....Saturdays should be busy at MK.

Our tradition on our first full day is lunch at CRT. I find it so relaxing after the trip and a busy first morning at MK and the atmosphere is so special. We also enjoy lunch at the Plaza and LTT. Have a great trip,jennymouse!
