Leaving MK for the Christmas Party?

I've only been in MK once when there was a party that night and we had tickets so we didn't have to leave. We have tickets for the Sunday party, but not the Friday one. What happens when everyone is shuffled out if they don't have tickets? Is it a mad dash to all the other parks?

Reason I'm asking, I was going to make an ADR for that night in Epcot, but if it's just bananas getting to another park we may just go back to the resort.

I'd love to hear your experience with this!

IT is not a mad dash out since they start at the back and work there way up front I find it more as a steady stream out you could always leave say 30 minutes before the park closes ( the steady stream in is fare warst part for me but once out this is fine

We've been in Magic Kingdom a few times when there were Halloween or Christmas parties in the evening which we were not staying for. People leave gradually, with a bit of an uptick from around 6 until around 7:30 but even then it's much easier to navigate then on a regular evening after fireworks.
