I have noticed a few people have made comments that a few of the normally "furnished" items have not been in their units when they arrived. Anything particular you would recomend I should bring from home this time? Supplies, utencils, etc? Thanks

Well if ther are normally furnished, I would just call down to housekeeping for replacements if they are missing.

I always find that plastic wrap or those disposal plastic ware containers come in handy in storing leftovers.

I'd bring a couple sponges or some wipes to keep both the bathroom and kitchen neat at that's about it. Everything else I would be able to wait for housekeeping to deliver.

We like coffee! I always pack some extra filters and grounds, along with extra packets of Splenda. Also, extra laundry soap and softener.

If you're going to cook I'd take some salt/pepper/spices that you normally use at home. You could measure some out into the little snack size Ziploc bags.

I also found a can of non-stick spray like Pam to be useful since we like to cook and I'm trying to watch the fat. I don't like to buy stuff down there and think of it as disposable so I bring my own if possible or just bring home what we buy that's non-perishable.

The stuff that is provided, don't sweat - if you don't have enough paper towels or dish soap they will bring more. If you are missing the spatula, no problem.

They don't provide coffee (not good coffee and not in quantity). You'll need laundry soap if you will do more than one load. All foodstuffs, from salt/pepper, cream, sugar and ketchup to the turkey you are going to roast (yeah right). Shampoo and conditioner, and the little Mickey's aren't sufficient for a whole trip.

(For just in case, bring some "that time of the month" supplies....travel can throw off your cycle and that sort of this is always really expensive at the gift store).

Flashlights, with spare batteries, in case of emergency.

Also, bottled water.

Extra swimsuit, and spare sneakers.

Suntan lotion.

Oh yeah, we always order a couple extra boxes of our favorite blend from Gevalia for the trip home!
