I leave 2 weeks from today for our first Disney cruise. I didn't book the trip myself. One of my children has a medical condition and was granted the trip from an organization (kind of like make a wish). We are super excited but still have not received any documents in the mail. No booklet, no luggage tags, nothing. The organization who booked didn't receive them either. I called Disney and got a lady who sounds like she doesn't know what she is talking about so I didn't really get a straightforward answer as to why nothing was mailed out to me as of yet. I did go ahead and check in online and printed out the signature form but will that be ok and will there be luggage tags at the port? I don't want them to lose our luggage.

You'll be fine. There are luggage tags you can fill out at the port. I would suggest calling back to see if you can get another rep that can better answer your questions as to why you haven't received the booklet and luggage tags.

They will issue you luggage tags at the port if you don't get them. We booked a last minute cruise last month and didn't get anything. Most all the stuff you need is covered in online check-in.

Congrats on the trip and hope you all have a great time!

No worries at all. If you want reassurance you're still booked on the cruise (I understand being worried about everything going perfectly), just call DCL to confirm. Or even confirm online.

But...you can show up at the port with your ID (passport/birth certificate) and a method of payment, and they will be able to do everything else. You don't have to check in online. They have luggage tags there, they have the forms to fill out that you would have done so online, and in your cabin will be tickets for any prebooked experiences. In fact, just about anything else you forget (other than prescription meds) will be available in the store onboard (clothing, toiletries, books, pens, batteries, suntan lotion, etc). Disney makes it easy.
