no love for The Plaza?

We like and have booked many times. So no hate from us.

We used to like the Plaza, but DW says no more. Too noisy, too cold, and food has dropped in quality.

We did not like it much. Too crowded (tables), the seats were for victorian-era-sized people, and the food was forgettable.

We used to love The Plaza, but add us to the list of people that say no more. Our last visit was abysmal. The menu had changed and they removed a lot of our favorites, but even worse was how terrible the food we received was. None of us finished our meals, I couldn't even eat the chicken and had to send it back. Service was also terrible and we vowed to never go back.

Loved it there years ago, when the menu was better, it was almost a hidden gem. We also enjoyed breakfast there when they had it for a short time before Covid in 2019. We had dinner there a few trips ago and we were not impressed. It was chaotic, crowded and the food was just meh.

Used to be so much better, used to have the best thick cut belgian style chips (fries). Now I think they are the normal disney QS fries ?

Miss the Monte Cristo ..............

I was so excited to try the Monte Cristo during the 50th. They got rid of it halfway into the celebration so I didn’t do Plaza on my last trip.

We were so excited to try it, and it was a one and done for us, too. Took more than 45 minutes past our reservation time to get seated and then the meal was extremely slow and just okay. It's hard when time is so precious in the parks to wait for such a long time and then wish you'd just grabbed some cheeseburger spring rolls!

We've liked the Plaza and it was always a must go for lunch. Haven't been back in several trips b/c it just doesn't fit our schedule.

My wife and I will continue to boycott The Plaza until they return the Monte Cristo sandwich to the menu. It was, honestly, the best thing on their menu.

Had many a meal and always loved it--before having lunch there this past May. It was not good. I'm not sure how you mess up a club sandwich, but the bread was hard as if it was old and had been left out. Not nice and toasted--hard. Barely any condiments on it. I didn't even eat half of it.

We ate at the Plaza for the first time in decades just yesterday, and we both enjoyed it. I had the chicken salad and DH had the pot roast. My only suggestion is to wait and let the candied pecans soften a bit before attempting to chew one!

We will definitely be back!

I was watching this video a few weeks ago and it appears the thick cut fries are back! Honestly everything in their meal looked really tasty. I'm with you the switch to the fast food fries was very disappointing and kept me from returning but I think I'm going to give it another try.

We used to really like it and would eat there mult. times on our trips, but around covid time they made a lot of menu changes and we just really struggled to find anything we liked.

I will say it has gotten better and we are going to go back next trip, but it still isn't as good as it used to be for us. They had the thick fries in May, but I didn't get them because for the last several yrs it's been the gross counter service fries. The constant chsnging is a bit obnoxious.

That was such a simple delicious sandwich, not sure why they would have changed it. Now I need to see a pic before I go again and get disappointed!

They had steak fries last week when I ordered a side with my salad.

“Mid” is a pretty good description of this place. It a place to go for lunch if I’m staying in MK, but it’s mediocre. If I plan to leave after lunch I now skip dining in MK altogether and do S71 for lunch instead.
