Leaving first week of June ME thread

We're leaving May 31, and we just got our ME package today!

Here's to everyone else getting theirs soon!

hmm, looks like my AAA agent and DME will be getting a call from me tomorrow while I'm at work.

and still nothing. I talked to my TA at about 4 and nothing had shown up yet. I'm picking everything else up from her Wed. If she doesn't get anything by then I'm getting on the phone. I just really don't want my luggage missed because I don't have the right tags. I have faith though since it is still a new program.

I picked up my tix today from the TA. (leave in a week) Turns out that Monday after I talked to her Fed Ex showed up with my ME tags. All the info is correct and I'm so excited. Staying at Pop Century and the tags are yellow with a green mickey with AK on it.

Just thought I would give an update.

Really? Wonder why yours came so early? It's supposed to be three weeks before your trip at best, and they certainly don't seem to be 'at best' yet.

We leave June 7 also and all we have recieved is the info packetwith the free castle luggage tags. Still waiting for the ME stuff.

i havtn't gotten my me luggage tags yet but earlier this week i got a new ressie confirmation with a note on the bottom saying that luggage tags will be mailed seperatly

We leave on the 4th and no tags yet. I'm not going to worry about it though, I've never had anyone pull my luggage before so if I have to pull it on the 4th no big deal. I do hope they come though, it would just be a little extra magic.

We leave on the 4th and received our tags, via Fed Ex, on Monday 5/23. I sure hope the bugs are all worked out!!!

We had great experience. I received luggage tags 6 days prior to leaving. We used the tags and checked in bags in the Pittsburgh airport. We landed in Orlando airport via Southwest at 11:10 AM Thursday. Directed by cast members to ME desk and after brief review of paperwork we were sitting on the ME bus at 11:50. We pulled out of the airport at 12:00 Noon and after one brief stop at French Quarter, we were at PO Riverside at 12:45. The room was ready so we freshened up and were out the door, and were at EPCOT by 1:35. I did take one small carry-on with essentials and one change of clothes in case luggage was late or lost. When we came back that evening our luggage was in our rooms. PO staff told me it was delivered ~ 3:00. Only negative was upon leaving, we did have to be ready to leave PO 3 hours prior to our flight.
Overall, it was a very smooth!!! Actually it was faster than our 1993 trip when we used Mears.

You only get castle tags when you book a package.
I leave on June 4th and my tags came in the mail to the TA on Monday. I got them today

I would bet you'll get your tags on Tuesday, not sure if they would deliver tomorrow or not so my guess is Tuesday. I got mine last week for my trip this thursday. They were sent Fed X. Good luck and have a great trip!!!

I leave on June 6th and still no tags yet. I'm starting to get pretty antsy about it. When I called DME last week the lady I talked to said to remember: "if you don't get it, don't sweat it," because everything will work out fine whether or not we have the tags. But still, I'm worried.

About how far in advance is everyone getting their tags? It sounds like they're starting to arrive now. Should I be waiting at my door for the Fed Ex man?
