Ok so tomorrow's the big day. I fly down Southwest and return on Delta.

Southwest: I can print my boarding pass at home within 24 hours right? Then what do I have to do at the airport? Just check my bags?

Delta: Can I just go to one of the machine things and put my card in that I paid for the reservation on and it will print my ticket? Then just go check my bags?

I've only flown for company business so doing it by myself is new to me! Thanks!

SWA yes some airports have self check-in with baggage so look before you get in the big line

Delta can't help only fly SWA

For Delta, you can curbside check at MCO, they will check your luggage and print out your boarding passes. Tip $1 or $2 per bag. Or you can go in and do it at the counter or do self service at a kiosk (insert your credit card).

I'll have a rental at MCO to return. Can you still get the curbside or do you just go in and check your own luggage?

I would check the luggage curbside, then return the car. It's a big loop at MCO, so you can go to the departure curb and curbside check, then loop back around to the car rental return.
