I am bothered by kid-related threads. It just reminds me that I forgot to have kids.

Still, when it is a kid-related thread and the question or topic is something I can help out with, I'm happy to try. I do know DL rather well and I've seen most Disney movies before they come out, for example.

Just remember the next time you write about how hard it is to work and have five kids and take them all to the zoo/ballgame/school and woe is you...etc., that there are some of us who would be happy to have just ONE kid to worry about.

Intimate details of bodily functions and/or your private life are just not something we need to read. As I said before, there are tons of boards out there where that stuff is welcome. Find one and post it there.

its hard to pick just one jk but then again if I dont have anything positive to add I just wont. I dislike the threads that turn into a "im better then you" fist fight. Im all for mature debates or difference of opinions but they have gotten real bad lately.

Wow - given the results so far, maybe someone should start a clique thread for DISers whose least favorite thread type is clique threads....

Didn't they have something like that at one time? It was a NON-clique Clique.

I dont get why people dislike them so much... The only one I ever 'belonged' to was the "Moms 2 Be"... I think it's a great place for (gasp) Moms 2 be to click on and share their thoughts and experiences. If you weren't pregnant, yeah, probably not the thread you'd want to click on.
And...the one ya'll are referring to, I think Fantasia started..and if you peeked into it, like I did...it was just a big ol' fluff thread for people to talk about their daily activities, but not needing to check back for those that were too busy in real life to keep up with all that was going on there...
Anyone is invited into a 'clique' thread....it just has to capture your interest, and if it doesn't.. it's not the 'cliquers' fault

I voted for serious discussions.. None of the choices really bothered me, but since I 'had' to choose, I chose this one..only because they can be quite sad and they make me feel helpless. Also, people can get pretty heavy into them, not being nice about their 'opinions'...

Its not the clique threads themselves that bother me, its the innocent threads you post on and then when you go back later you realize that its someone from one of the clique threads starting a new thread. You have answered in a thoughtful manner and everyone who answers after you do is in on the joke and you feel really stupid.

It depends. If it's someone I don't really know, I'll go look at the submissions and see whose I think is best. If it's just a vote for me without showing other submissions, I guess I'd go ahead and vote for the person asking. Not sure if I've come across that, though.

I couldn't vote because my least favorite threads are the pet peeve threads
that go off about the posters that can't spell. My opinion on those (and my opinion only) are that they are degrading and embarassing.
