I believe there are 19 clique threads or exclusives on page 1 right now.

My least favorite threads are those that complain about what other people post. Who cares if someone asks about their feelings or if someone has been to a certain hotel. Come on folks. This is a message board. If you don't like the thread, move on and read something else.

I really hate the "only post if you agree with me" type threads, or the threads were the OP is saying, "hey, this is my thread..if you want to talk about X, I am going to close/delete the thread (they can't do that anyway) or why don't you go start your own thread" threads. Or how about the "I am leaving now" constant threats because they aren't hearing what they want to hear, yet they come back again and again...

Actually, I have a love/hate relationship with those type of threads. They are entertaining to read, but frustrating because the OP is really only looking for validation, whether they are right or not.

Pot, meet kettle.

Off topic? What's off topic around here?
My least fave is polls. Thats wasnt on the poll though.

I hate when people post horrific news items.

I only hate it when multiple people post the same horrific news item -- people need to use the search function before they start a new thread. One thread I can skip, more than one is just annoying.

Debate threads that everyone assumes you are wrong because you have a different opinion than them.

The tag cliques. I'm jealous .. :sad1:

No need to be jealous -- you used to belong to one but stopped posting. :rotfl:

You were on the scrollie/shaky weren't you hhh? Or was it the Sky is _____, or possibly the Gee Whiz thread? I know you were on one of those with us! Come on back!

Number 1 is the "Has anyone. . ." NOPE. That place has been in business all these years but no one has actually ever been there/used their services/products etc. Unless someone is asking "Has anyone ever owned a cocker spaniel with high blood pressure and wants someday to stay at the Polynesian resort and adopt baby orangutans?" someone has done it. Just ask for the opinions of those that have.

Number 2 are the ones that ask for advice and then when given it they argue why none of that will work for them and then get nasty and finally YAGE because everyone here is so mean. If you don't want advice don't ask. If you don't want opinions from others then don't post on a public forum. If you just want everyone to agree with you then go talk to your family and friends that all share your same views and backgrounds or find a forum that is specifically for those with your same viewpoints. There is something for everyone on the internet!

Number 3 are the thread titles that give no idea what the thread is about. "Question about WDW", "Help Please", "I have a Question"

So basically my least favorite thread would be titled "Has anyone ever?" And would then for advice and reject all that is offered!

I hate the threads were the Mods won't share their feelings and thoughts with us. :rotfl2:

My least favorite threads are those picking on those less fortunate for some type of behavior. They usually have something to do with WIC, welfare or immigration and are often thinly veiled racism.

Clique threads. :snooty:
Now everybody and their grandmother is starting a thread for "Owners of cocker spaniels with high blood pressure who want someday to stay at the Polynesian resort and adopt baby orangutans!" :upsidedow
I NEED a thread like that. I never come close to qualifying for the other clique threads.

Pot, meet kettle.

Hardly. Anyone responding to this thread was simply answering the question asked. Most folks simply browse through threads or completely ignore threads that are of no interest. I simply don't think that anyone should be complaining about any topic. I think everyone has a right to post what is of interest to them assuming the topic complies with the guidelines of the DIS.
If the DIS chooses to narrow topics that they will accept, that is one thing, but posters should not try to make others feel poorly about their choice of topics.

Well, really my least favorites are: questions that are already answered in a sticky (nobody reads the stickies :(); "has anyone ever___?" threads; and threads where people disagree with me when I'm right ;)

But those weren't poll options, so I chose the 'clique' response :)

It was the geez whiz :thumbsup2
I keep forgetting about it!

The " Please Vote for My Kid" threads.
Aren't those threads prohibited? Anyone have a copy of (okay, a link to) the DIS guidelines?

Personally, I dislike the medical opinion threads. People, go to a doctor if you have a nail stuck in your head or blood gushing from an artery. It's not safe to take our advice.
:offtopic: When you call the rental office here, the recorded greeting is, "If you are experiencing a medical, police, or fire emergency - hang up and call 911".

Wow - given the results so far, maybe someone should start a clique thread for DISers whose least favorite thread type is clique threads.... :umbrella:

Didn't they have something like that at one time? It was a NON-clique Clique.

Someone started a thread stating that it WAS NOT a clique thread and that people should feel free to stop by whenever, without any pressure. If it looks like a clique thread, and sounds like a clique thread... ;)
