Least expensive way from Sanford to WDW?

Anybody know how much a cab is from Sanford airport to WDW? Car service is around 100. Didn't know if a taxi would be cheaper?

We did this a couple of weeks ago . The cheapest was renting a car from national. We end up paying.$74 including tolls and gas

I have flown into Sanford a few times. I would think a taxi ride would be quite costly. I think it is a 45 min drive.
We have gone 2 different routes on this. We have gotten a car service (15 passenger van, as we had 8) and this was about $180 plus tip for a round trip service. We have also rented a van one way. There is a drop off at the Car Care Center and at the Swan/Dolphin (I believe). The one way rental was much cheaper, and the center also gave us a shuttle ride back to POP. You could rent one way for one day from Sanford to the drop off, then book another one way rental for the day you need to go back....if you dont want a rental for your whole time.
I would ask this on the transportation board too

I don't know if this is a feasible idea, but can you get a cab from Sanford Airport to Orlando International Airport, then take the Magic Express Bus to your Disney Hotel. Magic Express is free for guests staying on property.

If you are willing to spend about four hours, you can do it for about $2.00 per person, but you would have to change buses three times (including to a Resort bus at DTD). Check www.golynx.com for schedules.

I would not go that route unless know how catch bus. I know would be comfortable catching bus in a strange city.
