Least Expensive TS Restaurants

We are trying to add an extra trip over July 4th week and need it to be as budget as possible while still being able to enjoy some ADRs. We do have TiW so that does help.

Any suggestions for the least expensive TS restaurants?

The Plaza is a must and always less expensive than others. Looking for other suggestions.

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, Trail's End for any meal. Just burgers and shakes at Sci-Fi, Kona for lunch, Tony's for lunch. we tend to do our TS meal for lunch for a respite form the heat theat time of year--I find lunch at TS non-buffett is always around $80 with Tip on TIW--we are a family of 4 with 2 kids over 10.

The Plaza at MK is also pretty inexpensive.

Does it have to be in a park? Restaurant.com has good deals on several restaurants...many located at Swan/Dolphin. I got a House of Blues (Downtown Disney) $25 gift certificate for $2.

I totally agree with using Restaurant.com certificates for House of Blues, Garden Grove, Kimonos, Ill Muno, Blue Zoo, Shula's Steak.... I think with AAA membership, you get 10~20% off on Swan/Dolphin restaurants also.

We like beaches and cream at the beach club, love the hot roast beef and provolone sandwich and great sundaes. Linda

Thanks for the suggestions! These are great ideas. Can't wait to check the menus with DH to narrow it down. I hadn't even considered some of the choices mentioned until now.

Also THANKS for reminding me about the restaurant.com gift certificates. I actually bought some of these awhile back and still have them. They don't expire so we will definitely use those on this trip.

Just want to remind you that TIW is blacked out for July 4th - no discount on that day.

We like Plaza too, as well as the others mentioned. Rainforest is not bad if you have a Safari Club discount card, and there are .99 kids meals (check their website for coupons).

Also, to remind you that at Disney-owned restaurants, kids meals are purchased a la carte, so if your child does not eat dessert, don't order it, and you aren't charged for it. A bit of savings there too!

Thanks for the reminder. I had totally forgotten about blackout dates but I do remember that we couldn't use TiW on Thanksgiving dinner at LC last year.

Didn't think about Rainforest and had no clue about the kids meals coupons. Those would be a great savings for us. I remember the portions being huge there so we may be able to split a few things and still have more than enough to eat.

We Rose & Crown. Had lunch there for the first time in February and the kids really liked it. Definitely on our must do list!
