Le Cellier

 I dont think that anyone is trying to make you do anything ....sorry you felt that way

:scared: I am scared to ask this now but would anyone be willing to share with me what they eat there if they are not big red meat eaters? My Dh loves his red meat but I am not so big on it
I was wondering what I may try there ...

There was a Chicken Ceasar Salad (I think) that a lot of people were eating around us that looked VERY yummy. There were also a couple of fish entrees available. Also a vegetarian sampler platter. Lots of choices that are not beef.

what happened to the maple glazed salmon?
we have ressie for the Candelight Processional at this restaurant because
it is our favorite, but I don't eat steak!
I'm disappointed, but guess what, I'm going anyway because the breadsticks are to die for and the atmosphere....believe me, I can always find something on their menu, but my favorite meal in all of WDW was the
maple-glazed salmon.

The King Salmon may fill the bill! I don't eat meat either abut that looks good!

Le Cellier is my husbands favorite restaurant in all of WDW. I think he lets me plan a trip, just so he can eat here. He says the steak he had was one of the best he has eaten. As an FYI he is a professional meat cutter and knows his beef.
Try it, I don't think you will be disappointed, especially with all the in-depth reviews folks here have provided.

You need to relax and get a grip. Perhaps if you are so opposed to providing your oh-so-important opinion it would be better if you said nothing at all. However, judging by your other posts you seem to enjoy stirring the pot.

Definetly make your ADR's NOW!!!

When I called me make mine for the last week in Oct I called probably 70 days out. I know I know WHAT WAS I THINKING!!

When I requested me intial time saying a party of 2 the nice CM said they were completly booked for that night.

I was only sad for a moment though because the incrediablly nice CM put in the computer party of 3 and magically there was room for us.

YIPPEE!!

Lesson learned:

Make your ADR's NOW!! or hope and pray for a mircale or a very nice CM! :goodvibes

OT - What does ADR stand for? Advance Dining Reservation? Just guessing. I still think of it as PS = Priority Seating.

Check out the pictures on ourlaughingplace.com in the restaurant section, maybe it will help you have a better idea of the atmosphere and what food presentations look like. Good luck deciding and have a wonderful trip! :wave2:

I go for the chocolate moose,, I love the grilled asparagus too,,, cheese soup,,,

I think one of the main reasons why it gets filled up so fast is that it really a small restuarant. I was suprsied when I arrived last week and saw the size of the place compared to other disney restuarants, especially coming from Italy's restuarant the night before. And I guess the second reason would be the food. We thought it was great as well, and I agree about that chese plate for 12.99 they don't give you much cheese and it was nothing special.

I've never been to Le Cellier. I've passed it several times and decided to give it a try on our trip during the last week of October (the evening of the 23rd to be exact). I was able to get ADRs for 7 at 6:20PM with no problem. I called this past Monday to make the reservation and had plenty of times to choose from.

We ate there last week also. The creme brulee was fabulous, but the lobster was just ok. The steak was very good.

Whoa...Don't be so negative, the OP just asked a simple question. This is supposed to be a happy place! :goodvibes

I did not feel the tables was to close together at LeCelliar but Italy I sure did Italy the tables was right on top of one another.

Why should you get offended by someone asking for opinions. I thought that's what these boards were for.

If you get offended by someone asking about a restraunt in a RESTAURANT BOARD, then why do you even bother coming here?

Don't you know what Thumper says in Bambi - "If you can't say something nice, then don't say nothing at all."

How can anyone "make" you explain. The OP just wanted people to tell why they loved it to help with the decision of to go or not. If you don't want to share then don't.

To the OP I booked ADR's there as I have mostly wonderful things. I have heard some negative as well but you get that about everything.

TROLL!

So there is lobstger available at Le Cellier? I just made ADRS last night for the first week of December. I'd heard it was good but I prefer seafood. Lobster would be lovely!
