I heard that Le Cellier is now two table service credits. Is this true?

There has been no word yet if there will be corresponding menu changes.
I have a reservation for march 14th and yea its def two table credits but heck my GF (fiance by the time the march trip will be over) and I have never been so we figured what the heck lets throw away two credits lol. If something uses two credits do you get more food? Ie. A appetizer as well as a dessert? Not sure on the two credit thing thought I would ask the experts![]()
After eating at some of the signatures, there's no way I'd use 2 credits on Le Cellier. It's just not in the same category. I've eaten there twice, and enjoyed it both times, but not nearly as much as Narcoossee's, Flying Fish, etc.
That presumes, of course, that the menu isn't "upgraded" to compensate for the move to signature status. There seems to be a lower standard for "signature" for an in-park restaurant vs. a resort restaurant, but with the Yachtsman literally within walking distance, I'd think that Le Cellier would have to do something to keep up.
The one rumor I had heard is that they'll start using Canadian beef again.
Just kidding...I've had nothing but good steaks there and always thought it was a bargain for one credit in light of some of the other steaks that I've gotten on the dining play (Tony's Town Square for instance) where shoe leather would have been an upgrade.
Disney is not the place to get steak...never really has been.
Actually Shula's is quite good. Easily on par with Mortons, Ruths Chris, etc.
Le Cellier has a LONG way to go if it wants to compete at that level.
This goes back to the point that many of us have been making for a long time. The introduction of DDP has reduced the quality of the food served in be participating restaurants. They have let the dining experience become controlled by accountants instead of by chefs! For those of us who loved the Disney dining experience how it used to be the changes have made it become something more akin to visiting any midlevel chain restaurant anywhere in the United States! At least in our opinion there is no real incentive to even try to find fine dining anywhere that is part of the DDP!I do agree about Shula's...but they aren't governed by Disney's accountants and therefore might just give their kitchen the ability to maintain a certain level of quality in their choice of ingredients

Aaaaah (screaming madly). sorry Locke, why do we use that as an excuse.
They charge outrageous money and now 2 TS to serve ho-hum steaks. Any place is a place to get steaks if you are running a steak house. I grew up in the restaurant business for 25 of my 50 years. There is not a beef distributor on the planet that could not supply Disney great cuts of meat.
I say it once, I say it a thousand times, any time you go to a steak house and the best thing on the menu is the soup, Houston we have a problem.
Actually, I shouldn't be upset because I gave LC 2 tries. fool me once - shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I go elsewhere now.
