It seems almost impossible to get a reservation at this restaurant. What are your suggestions for getting a reservation there.

Thanks
Chris

On your 90 day mark, be up and online with that restaurant set and ready to go. As soon as you are able book it. That is how I got my adr.
Others have done the same and didn't get in, so I think it depends on who gets in quickest. It is a hot place to book.
We have never tried it and are very much looking forward to it.

Good luck!

If you don't get it on your 90 day mark, keep trying. Cancellations happen often and new reservations open up. I was able to get a reservation today for a restaurant that has been fully booked for my party size (9) for the last 2 weeks. Also be flexible about your times. Hope you get it!pixiedust:

I've been playing around with Le Cellier for a couple of days, sort of a practice session. Tried booking lunch there at 90 day online at 8am in the morning today and it already says it's booked all day.

Seems impossible to book there. When I called DVC, the CM mentioned to get online at 6am at the 90 day point and book it.

Will I guess I will try that and see if I'm already to get a reservation.

Chris

We finally decided to book Le Cellier out of curiousity about what all the fuss was about. I booked it online the first day I could, using the 90 +10. I believe I got it for lunch (what we wanted) the third day of our trip, so if we weren't able to use +10 by staying on site, we probably wouldn't have gotten it.

I did get online right when I woke up to book it. It wasn't the first second it was available, but it was before the phonelines opened. It was the third restaurant I put in my online shopping cart - CRT was first, Cali Grill was second, and Le Cellier was third - so I probably booked it only a short time before the phone lines opened up.

Nothing was available at 6am on the first day I could book. I do have a ressie now but it is not the one I really wanted. I also tried to book the CP package at LeCellier. I was on the phone as soon as the phone lines opened, but I could not get that either. I did book another restaurant but I am still trying for LC.

Others have reported better luck. Hope you get what you want!

I agree, just start calling asap on you day 90. Also if you REALLY want to go, be flexible. We went on 9/2 for lunch. I wasn't able to book it for dinner. We very much enjoyed it for lunch. Good luck. It's worth it!

I called at the 90 day mark, and I was only able to get LeCellier for lunch (12:50). Before this trip, I've never had an issue getting a dinner reservation. You just have to be flexible.

My 10th day is when I got the time I wanted. It seemed to me that if I wanted anything sooner I was out of luck because others calling days before me got their reservation.

My 90+10 day was today, I got up very early and couldn't get the website to show my ressie, so I waited til 7 EDT and called. I got a cm right away and booked PTC, then Le Cel. I got dinner for the first time ever, but it is our 6th day.

I tried getting it on my 90 day mark, and could not get anything. I then tried later on during our trip and was able to get a 6:45pm ADR for the night before we leave. Luckily that was the day that we were going to AK and they close at 6pm...so now we will leave the park at 5 and hop over to get to our ADR in Epcot.

I wouldn't stress if you can't get an ADR there.

This place gets quite a bit of hype. We hit it on Monday to see what it's all about. Here's my take: it's a nice change of pace from the burgers and chicken fingers you have most of the time in the parks. If you are expecting a Ruth's Chris or Morton's quality meal you will be disappointed.

I had the filet and it was pretty good. It was about the quality of an Outback or Longhorn. The risotto was kind of rice-a-roni-ish. It was certainly the smallest filet mignon I've ever been served in a restaurant. If this is a place you've never been before, I'd recommend it just for the experience, the fact that it's pretty good, and that it's something different from what you eat most of the time in the parks. I'd just recommend that you have realistic expectations. Oh, and it's expensive.

This was what I was served...

What's the 90+10 mean?

Thanks
Chris

Your 90 day mark (before first day of your reservation) plus up to the next 10 days of your vacation. You can actually book for your entire vacation over the phone, just not online. (meaning if you are there for 13 days, youc an book for all 13) I have done this twice.

I have to agree. We have eaten at Le Cellier a few times since 1999. Each time was great. We ate there this past week and everyone in the party got the Prime Rib with mash potatoes as a side. It was a rather disappointing experience. For the price you pay you get the smallest prime rib of anywhere I have eaten and a paltry amount potatoes. We can get a cheaper prime rib at Outback and it is at least $5-$10 less than at Le Cellier. The sides are more plentiful too.

We have a Candlelight lunch package booked at Le Cellier and now we don't know if we should keep it or go for something else. Perhaps the filet or NY Strip is better, but we are not fans of the NY Strip cut and a filet is usually very small.

Need to add ou must be staying on property to do this.

Have at least 2 days as possible times to eat there. That will give you some flexibility in case your first choice isn't available. I booked within seconds of my days opening up, and I had to go with my 2nd choice since the 1st had no availability.

Also try to pick a day towards the end your trip...that seems to make a difference too.

Good luck!
