Le Cellier has always been one of my favorite restaurants at WDW, but we have been unable to get a reservation for the last several trips.

I reviewed their menu recently for an upcoming trip, and I noticed that my very favorite meal - the reason I love to go - is gone!

I always order the Filet Mignon with Maple BBQ sauce on cream cheese mashed potatoes.

Can anyone confirm that this truly is gone?

Thanks!
K

Sorry to say, but it truly is gone. We have gone to Le Cellier on our past few vacations, and it has not been on the menu.

It was NOT on the menu last sept, because that was what I was going to order myself :confused3 I think the changed the menu sometime last summer.

We got back last week and ate at Le Cellier. Our server told us they were in the process of changing the menus and would be changed within 2 weeks, though she gave no indication of what may or may not be on the menu.
Sorry, the maple bbq filet was not on the menu.
Beef entrees included mushroom filet, prime rib, strip steak. I thought there was a 4th beef entree, though can't remember what it was.

The filet with mushrooms is the best reason to go to DisneyWorld---delicious!@!!

It is a coffee rubbed cowboy steak. It was good, but I would have liked the "regular" seasoning like they do for the NY strip better.

I feel your pain. This was my favorite as well. I used to head to LeCellier once on every trip..not any more. Not only is it ridiculously hard to get an ADR there, the food has gone downhill a bit. Add to that the fact that they did away with my personal favorite...well, we just don't go anymore.

DH had the teriyaki filet from Cali Grill a few weeks ago and he said it was just like Le Cellier.

I was able to get the mushroom filet with the cream cheese mashed potatoes when I went last year. It was absolutely delicious!! I don't know if that helps or not.

It was my favorite too and I am sad that it is gone. Had the mushroom fillet when I was there last and I didn't care for it, it had truffle butter on it (I like truffles) and the butter melted into the mashed potatoes and it was terrible! The flavors just conflicted too much. When I go back next I will order it plain.

I just wanted to add that Le Cellier has really changed over the past few years. It gets a lot of hype here on the DIS boards, but it is just not the same. I prefer going to another Epcot restaurant over it now.

I always got this too - I'm sad it's gone. I had it in February 2008 during our last trip. I guess I'll have to try the mushroom filet!
