I have eaten at both resturants. WE were very disappointed in Rose and Crown. There were 4 adults and 1 child dinning and the only person who liked their food was the child. We all loved Le Cellier. The food and the service was fantastic. The bread sticks before the meal are wonderful.
We like the food at LeCellier much more. We ate at Rose & Crown on our last trip just to get the table for Illuminations (I know it's not guaranteed), the food was average.
Oh Wow...eat at both! They are my two favorite places at Epcot! They are so great. The Rose and Crown is problably my favorite, but it is British food, which most find to be an acquired taste. Le Cellier probably fills a better range of tastes, but IMHO you cannot beat that World Famous Fish and Chips....my mouth is salivating.
Being British myself I found the food at the Rose & Crown very unappetising. Its only my opinion of course but if thats what people think we British eat all the time, sorry! Not this Brit! Much preferred Le Cellier and like a previous responder, we used the R & C for the fireworks.
Le Cellier! Our last visit to R & C was horrible -- poor (but friendly) service and nasty food. We're looking forward to Le Cellier at the end of this month.
Anyone able to help me with the childrens menu at LeCellier? I want to eat there with the family but my kids are picky eaters. Thanks in advance for the help.
BTW: Yes, we too love the fish and chips at the Rose and Crown but we received really poor service the last time we were there (January).
