Right now we have reservations for Le Cellier in 2 weeks, where I've eaten before and loved  but while it was great steak, it was pretty much the same that we could get at Outback for less money...it was great but I am thinking we might want to do something more unique to Disney and I'm looking into the Princess Lunch...but I can't make up my mind! It is going to be me (19) and DBF (24), the only thing he's ever done at Disney is ride Soarin' when his company had a conference at Epcot...so basically I consider that never going to Disney before (at least he got to experience one of the better things!....but thats literally the ONLY thing he did that was Disney related...even though the conference was at Epcot :headache: )

So would people suggest I try to change my reservation to Princess Lunch? Or stick with Le Cellier? He doesn't care what we do so he's not being much help lol, he just wants me to plan everything....I figure we can eat fancy filets at home anytime but not have lunch with princesses at home, but on the other hand our LC reservation is the only "nice" restaurant we have reservations at (the other ones are all themed...Chef Mickey's, Sci-Fi, 1900PF, T-Rex...) but we're in Disney so it should be fun :cheer2: Ahhh I can't make up my mind.

since you have been to canada but he hasn't/ which one would you thnk he would like? of course doing somthing different for you would be nice. Princess would be more of a Disney theme but would he like it?

Yeah that's the issue, he said he doesn't really care, he agrees that we can get fancy steak anywhere but not princess lunch anywhere...but I'm just worried we might feel burnt out after 3 character meals plus 2 ridiculous meals at T-Rex and Sci Fi...but I want us to get to meet the most characters without dipping into our park time as much since we're adults and think the kids should get to wait in line to meet them

Since you've already dined at LeCellier, I say try something else. How about the Biergarten? That's a lot of fun, the show is very entertaining.

We're going to try the Princess Lunch for the first time this trip. I heard good things about it. Honestly, if I wasn't with my kids I'd prefer to go somewhere else. But I can see your "only in Disney" idea.

If your BF doesn't mind dining there, then go. :thumbsup2

As for LeCellier, I just don't get the hype. It was a good steak meal, but for us there's so many other restaurants out there to try we're not running back anytime soon.

How about Tutto ? We had lunch here last April outside it was GREAT :thumbsup2

I think we're going to go for the Princess Lunch...it was hard to cancel that LC reservation since I had to call a few times to be able to get one, but we both decided we'd rather do something more unique to Disney for our meals every day, stuff we can't really get at home (Closest thing we have that's at Disney and similiar to stuff there is Rainforest Cafe...which is why we don't do it at Disney, but we're trying out T-Rex!) I'm excited for a week of festively themed meals

I see you've decided, but I just wanted to say that my DH wouldn't care to see the princesses at meals if it wasn't for our little girls. He just said his choice would be Tepan Edo in Japan or else Coral Reef. Everybody is different, but I just wanted to post what my DH said.

As a side note, can you really get as good of a mushroom filet mignon at Outback as you get at LeCellier? I'm curious because an Outback just opened about 45 minutes away from us and we may make the drive if that's the case. In any event, enjoy your trip! It looks like you have some great meals planned.

I would do the Princess lunch. We all enjoy the princesses...including DH(40) and DS (13). To us, that is what Disney is about. We can eat at a great restaurant at home. Disney is all about the atmosphere.:)

I think I would go for something not as girly, since you already have th e 1900 Park Fare dinner (which was hysterical!!)

I think I would go for 'Ohana or Luau at the Poly, or the Coral Reef or Biergarten -- something unique to Disney, but with more of an adult twist.

Good choice our family never liked Le Cellier! I know I should be banned from the DisBoards!

We tried the Princess breakfast at Epcot and the food was amazing! It's semi buffet all of the hot food is brought to your table and the cold food you go up and get yourself. Also the Princesses there were the prettiest ones I saw all week!
