Okay so plans are changing...... have to flip days around. Is it worth flip flopping our park days ( and other dining plans ) to grab the Le Cellier lunch ( Me and My DD17). It would mean chaning our days at the parks and cancelling Chefs dinner ( dont need 3 days to have to be at Epcot )??? Also, how long would it take us to get from the MK to Epcot??? would it be better to take the bus to YC and then walk thru world showcase? Thanks, been debating this for a couple of hours now and feel it might just be too much running around. It would be a morning EMH at Mk so we would be there at 8 and that would be our 2nd day at MK

We were there 2/15 to 2/22 and ate lunch at LeCellier and dinner at Le Chefs.

Le Chefs was our worst meal of the trip. I had the salmon it was dry, potatoes crusty and the sauce was too sweet. DH had the chicken. It too was dry and came with what looked like home fried potatoes. Nothing special at all. I think they may have been sitting under heat lamps a bit too long. The atmosphere was just loud. Overall, big disappointment. Ironically, ds10 loved his kids meal...cheese pastry and hamburger! He's not a big food person...he eats for survival! I think we could have picked any cs counter and had a better meal. I also ordered a club soda (I prefer bubbles in my water) and he said they didn't have that. I knew they did (any place with a bar does!) and I just wasn't going to push the issue.

Le Cellier was a very nice lunch spot. I had the filet and it was tender and delicious. My husband had the skillet (steak and potatoes), ds10 got a kids meal of some kind, ds12 I believe had a strip steak. Everything was great. Waiter was super nice. We really liked the atmosphere in there and didn't find the tables too close together at all. Actually, they were much closer together at Le Chefs.

Good luck with your decision.

I enjoyed my Le Cellier lunch significantly more than I enjoyed my Les Chefs dinner last September. We LOVED Le Cellier but we thought Les Chefs was just ... okay. If I went back, I would go for lunch and get the prix fixe with soup, quiche/croque monsieur, and such, as most of the good reviews seem to revolve around dishes like those.

Thank you for your insight. I had all my plans laid out and now my aunt and uncle want to drive down and do lunch at DTD (the day I had my Le Cellier lunch ressie). Needless to say, we are less than 90 days out (YEA) and I'm looking to have to change things around if we want to take advantage of another days lunch opening that became available. We were going to do Chefs for dinner one night and R &C (7:40 ressie - yea) for dinner our other nights at Epcot. So, I would need to switch our park planning as well as delete Chefs dinner.
Also, dont want to have to cut the EMH morning at MK too short due to having to get to Epcot for lunch. AHHHHH such a dilenma

Also, how long would it take us to get from the MK to Epcot??? would it be better to take the bus to YC and then walk thru world showcase?

In terms of travel, it depends on where you're going when you get to Epcot. I would allow about 45 minutes to get from MK to Epcot, regardless of the transportation mode you select. The most common options are:
1. Monorail from MK to TTC, monorail from TTC to Epcot
2. Bus from MK to YC/BC/BW/S/D, walk to International Gateway
3. Monorail/Walk to CR, taxi to Epcot

If you going directly to WS, then the least walking option is probably taking a bus to BC or BW (YC is the furthest) and then walking in via IG. If you're looking for the fun option, then the monorail is probably the best option.

I also ordered a club soda (I prefer bubbles in my water) and he said they didn't have that. I knew they did (any place with a bar does!) and I just wasn't going to push the issue.

Actually, Chefs doesn't have a bar. They have bottled sparkling water, but it's possible they didn't have club soda.
