Le Cellier lunch or dinner?

Okay husband has been dreaming of Le Cellier since our honeymoon 12 years ago. We are hopefully going in October. We didn't think we could go and so I didn't make my ADRs. Well good thing I didn't cancel because now it looks like we MAY be able to go.

Le Cellier is a must do for us. Right now I have an ADR for 2:35 and then 8:10 later that night. (Trust me I am cancelling one tonight because double booking is a pet peeve of mine.) Here is my problem, 2:35 is the lunch menu. 8:10 is kind of late because it is our last night and I would rather end the vacation watching fireworks or something. This was the only times I found in the whole 10 days but glad to have them!

So long story my question is what is the difference between the lunch and dinner menu? Also with it being such a late lunch when do they really switch to the dinner menu? I want to cancel one ASAP so I can free it up for someone else.

First, booking a lunch and a dinner at the same restaurant isn't double booking. If I had the deluxe plan, I'd have no problem eating at LC lunch and dinner.
Second, don't give-up on getting dinner at an earlier time. It took me about six weeks, checking every day, but I was finally able to change our late reservation to an earlier one, just a couple of days ago.

The L vs D menu's are slightly different but I didn't find much of a difference in my meals at either meal period (Mushroom Filet). You still get the pretzel bread, cheese soup, steaks, etc just as good. 2:35 is a good time to eat. You can get a snack or CS while viewing Illuminations at 9.

Another thing, having Le Cellier at lunch and dinner on the same day is not double booking. Dbl booking is having 2 or more adrs fall within the same meal period/day such as:

Aug 9th
CRT brkfast 8 am
CP brkfast 10 am
