LOL!! :rotfl2:

I feel this is a case of "Don't hate the player...hate the game". ADR's should somehow be linked in a way (by phone number maybe) that if a person already has ressie's at Le Cellier on "X" day and calls to make another the same day, but for a different time, the CM should automatically say: "I'd be happy to do that for you, but I see you already have an ADR for "X" day...which one would you like to keep?". That would at least dis-allow multiple ADR's for the same place on the same day.

OP has not come back to post on this thread (can't say that I blame him/her) but what's probably the most ironic about this is that they probably got the idea to make more than one ADR from these boards to start with!

I agree. I don't see why a CM shouldn't be able to tell a person that they have too many ADR's. I don't know how many WDW would allow, but I wish they would pick a number or something and stick to it.

That might be so, but from reading these boards, I would also hope they read how many people are calling everyday for a certain restaurant, and THEY themselves have 14 for it. (just using CP for an example) :confused3

The judgemental nature of this entire thread goes against what the OP was trying to do-BE NICE. The system allows her to make these reservations and she is not breaking any rules. Your anger is mis-directed. It also means you will see less people willing to post here offering up available ADR times because they will be scrutinized and insulted.

Let's all remember to play nice, here. Name calling, presonal attacks and fighting are not allowed on these boards.

The following is rule #3 of the Dis Board Guidelines. After what has taken place on this board this past week, we are sticking to this closely.

3. NO FIGHTING: Several Internet news groups are marred by the actions of a few selfish people who turn an otherwise positive forum into a soap box for their anger issues. Internet newsgroups are not moderated, and therefore, anything goes. These boards are moderated in an effort to keep the discussions appropriate to the topic at hand. Those who feel they can not abide by these rules are welcome to read the posts on the board, and respond via email to the person who posted the message. Messages that are argumentative or sarcastic in nature will be deleted without discussion.

I think we should give the OP a break. She cancelled her 3 ADR's at Le Cellier which was the right thing to do & said for anyone who wants to them call WDW-Dinning. As for making multiple ADR's at the same location, a few years ago my family & I made 2 ADR's at Boma & we went to both of them. We did the samething the very next year, however we had to cancel the 2nd ADR the day before we were supost to eat there again. Before you start flaming me about cancelling the ADR so close to the day we had it for, we cancelled it so close because the night before when we got back from Boma I threw up 3 times during the evening & I thought it was from Boma where I got sick. So we had not planned on cancelling the 2nd ADR. People you should realize that if someone cancells an ADR so close to the date it is secheduled they might have a very good reason. Like my reason because I got sick from the restaurant & did not want to risk getting sick again. Other reasons for cancelling so close maybe someone's flight is delayed & they have an ADR for that night & I am sure there are many more very good reasons to cancel an ADR in such short time before it is secheduled.

We can applaud the OP for being nice by releasing the 3 Le Celliers and call the OP out for 14 ressies at CP all at the same time. 13 extra ressies at one place isn't going to slide under the radar. It simply isn't.

The OP did not post about those 14 ADRs. That was someone else researching her posts and bringing them into the thread. If they wanted to call out the OP based on post history, they could have done so in a PM instead OR started a separate thread refering to the silliness of someone making 14 ADRs at one place. Then everyone who was looking to argue this particular issue would have a forum to argue on without making it a personal attack and the OPs post would have slid into oblivion like many others announcing cancelled ADRs.
