Haven't been to either of these in years and years and years and years :-). Any menu item suggestions for either of these venues? Going in December and booked ADRs for lunch at both. Thanks every so in advance.

For Le Cellier I strongly recommend finding a different locations. The restaurant is now "signature" which means that the pricing is dramatically higher but the food and experience are subpar at best. (I walked out feeling like it was the biggest rip off I have ever had food wise!) I like the cheese plate and fish & chips at Rose and Crown

We love LC but have only gone for dinner. My favorite is the mushroom fillet with the risotto and maple Creme brûlée for dessert. The pretzel bread they bring to the table is great.

I agree that LeCellier is over-rated as a signature experience, but if you go there, I'd recommend the cheddar cheese soup and mushroom filet. For Rose & Crown, I would recommend the cheese plate. and either the any combination of the strip steak and/or fish & chips - on our last trip, my dad and I split the combo - he took the fish, and I took the steak. My mom and cousin also split this. but they each took half of each one.

Another one who wasn't fond of LaCellier, we found the food just so so and the service nothing to write home about. We both had steaks and have had better. We've only eaten at the bar at Rose and Crown and, of course, had fish and chips. We enjoyed those and loved checking out different beers.
