Just a quick review of our dining experience at these two restaurants. DH and I usually never make ADRS as we don't really follow any schedules when we are on vaca but this time our DD and SonIL were with us for their first anniversary and we wanted a few special meals to share together.
Le Cellier- we had 2:30 lunch ressies arrived a bit early and were seated a few minutes early. Service and food were both excellent. We had the mushroom filet, strip streak, and salmon. All were prepared to our order and were yummy. The chedder cheese soup well- I think it's the best soup I ever ate!!! and the pretzel bread ohh my. It was an anniversary lunch for our kids and it was a very special experience. I would rec ommed it. Lunch was busy but not overcrowded or noisy. Very nice atmosphere. We had the tables in wonderland card and it saved us a good chunk of $$$. We all had drinks and dessert also which were all very good.
BOMA- This night started off a bit shaky but ended well. It was just DH and I. We arrived a bit early so they gave us a pager and said it would be about 20 min but would seat us as soon as they could. We went up to the lounge and had a nice drink. It was an 8:30 ressie. There were others upstairs with pagers and as we sat there more people came up with pagers. About 30 min went by and we noticed we were about the only people there with a pager!!!We went down to the check in and they said it wasn't ready yet. People came and got seated right away. The tables were half empty. When we questioned it they said they were short on servers. It was almost 50 min and now I was getting impatient. A young man asked us if there was a problem we told him our story and in 5 minutes we were being shown to a table. When we got to the table a woman(who I found out from our wonderful waiter)was the manager asked what the problem was. She said oh sorry and we never saw her again. Our waiter Rhahim apologized up and down for the wait. Apparently our table was give to someone else and we were left floating with no table. There was a slip with our name on it at another table also but other people were seated there. What a mix up. I just prayed that I wasnt being charged for two tables meals!!!! Rhahim was so kind and attentive the entire meal and we did thoroughly enjoy everything we ate. I tried all kinds of new things and the beef and the desserts were out of this world. As I said we had the TIW card but when he brought our bill he had already given us the 20% off because of the mixup. I thought that was so very nice. I would definitely go back and just keep an eye on those pagers!!!!
