Le Cellier 2TS for Lunch and Dinner in 2013!

Now the real question - will Le Cellier still be one of the top 5 hardest ADR's to get (up there with 'Ohana, CRT, Chef Mickey's, etc)?

Aren't they already? Will such limited seating, I'm never able to get a ADR in advance unless I want to dine at like 9:50pm. This is especially true for lunch. I had a much easier time get ADR's for Chef Mickey's & Ohana.

Now I wonder if they are going to get rid of the burger. It's a pretty good burger but definately not worth 2 TS. I wonder if they will go to one menu all day just like the Brown Derby.

We never have used the DDP at Le Cellier. We have been twice and have paid OOP. I had the Filet in Feb and it was great. I have been thinking of changing to another ADR and this is pushing me in that direction.

This doesn't matter one way or the other for us as we don't use the DDP and most likely never will. I'm excited that its become a signature and I'm wondering if the lunch menu will change to reflect the new status? I do feel bad for those that won't go now because it is 2ts credits.

I'm bummed as someone who doesn't even use the DDP. I pay OOP for my meals and I'm now worried that the prices at lunch will be jacked up to make it look more "worth" the two-credits.

I'm an OOP payer too, and I'm bummed for the same reasons you are. Because of course, that is EXACTLY what they did when dinner went signature. The filet went up by about $5, the cheese soup by $2, the caesar salad by $2...

I'm also worried this would mean the end of even more menu items that I enjoy. They already got rid of the tomato stack, and now the chipotle chicken sausage is only at lunch. I'm pretty sure with a signature lunch, that would be gone, too.

I would never use two TS credits on this place, nor would I pay OOP for it.

I can make a better steak at home, blindfolded, with one arm tied behind my back.

One TS credit, yes, or maybe. It's decent, but it's not that good. Two TS credits? No way.

LMAO! My thoughts exactly! So not worth it. I can make a much better steak at home. Im not surprised they went this way....a few veterans predicted it was a matter of time. They were right.

Le Cellier is not even worth 2 credits for dinner, let alone lunch! That place doesn't hold a candle to Yachtsmans Steakhouse or Artist Point. Those are true signature dining experiences because of the amazing service and food. Not because they are popular. Oh well, we always thought it was overrated and way too hyped up for what it really is. I'd rather have a great dinner for 1 credit at Teppan Edo.. the menu tends to stay the same there and the food and service are always great!

As someone who pays OOP, I'm on the fence about it. This should free up ADRs later than 180, which would be good for the majority. I'm okay with a bit of a price increase, if the quality improves with it. We like the idea of having a nicer experience at lunch, & not having to waste a dinner at LC. The negative I see is they'll probably remove the lunch items. We don't usually want a heavy meal at lunch. For me, it will come down to the lunch menu & whether or not the experience improves. If everything stays the same & they just raise prices, I won't be a fan.

As an OOP diner I'm on the fence about it too but I'm a little more over to the negative side of the fence just because I won't pay them nine bucks for the cheese soup. I did have dinner there last year and they had some pretty good buffalo and I do like the dinner version of the poutine. so I could go back there, but not for soup.

The recipe is online. You can probably feed yourself, and about 25 of your closest friends, for that price.

Love Le Cellier, but wouldn't pay 2 credits for it for dinner or for lunch. Too many other good places to eat. Now if they start going crazy and making other non signature places 2 credits, I will be done buying the dining plan.
