We love CR (always had a great meal) but on this trip we decided to change to LeCellier just once to try it. It was OUTSTANDING!!!! Our best meal all trip (in any of our trips actually!) I llike both a lot but Le Cellier was amazing. We also tried Cali Grill, now that I found to be way overrated. The view was amazing but the food at LeCellier was 10 times better (in our opinions...)

I'd go with Le Cellier because every meal I've had there has been good. The Coral Reef's meals are okay but unless you get a seat close to the tank the atmosphere isn't that nice. I'd say about 1/3 to 1/2 of the tables are close enough to make it worthwhile while the rest leave you feeling like a second class citizen.

LeCellier is just a notch above Coral Reef in every category for me. Like both but like LeCellier more :)

One more thing, as for the tank for the little one, Our five yr old is just starting to really enjoy it, at one and 2 our youngest was not that impressed. Maybe in a yr or 2 that may be a factor.

We just ate at both a few weeks ago, Le Cellier for dinner (in my dining report) and Coral Reef for lunch (coming soon). We enjoyed both but would definitely recommend Le Cellier. We have eaten at CR twice now and were able to get the diver for son's bday during recent trip which was fantastic (read they are no longer offering it) but the food poisoning I got from the shrimp ceasar salad was not.

Personally, I think both are over rated. We just ate at the Coral reef. We got there 20 minutes early and we were told the seating was 30 minutes past the reservation time. We had a table in the back row and really could barely see the tanks. The food was just so so. We also sat at a table directly facing a couple who had no control over their children and made no effort to keep them in line. The boy next to me was throwing his silverware around and both were screaching during the meal. The mother got on the cell phone and totally ignored them. Then she proceed to pull her cigs out of her purse and not watch as her daughter upset everything on the table. Not an enjoyable meal what so ever.
