Uh oh, DH is going to flip out when he learns what I've found. As I've mentioned before, I am an ok scrapper with limited time (like all of us!) and I am not very creative, nor am I very, um, coordinated, so cutting out little teensy pieces of paper never goes quite as I hope. My LSS sells these great kits that help you put together pages in a jiffy. The problem is that after 3 years, there are not that many left that I want to buy, and I have been left to my own, on-creative devices.
Anyway, I never knew that these were common until I was cruising eBay tonight and came across the term "Paper Piecing" which I had never heard before. Oh my, wonder of wonders, it's lay-out heaven. Some of them look beautiful, and some are way pricey, but I know how much labor goes into them... Anyway, I bid on several - a recital lay-out, a school lay-out and a best friends layout. We'll see what happensl, but this could be my salvation.
If you have not looked at these, I encourage you to. In particular, look at the Cinderella page by shirlley.
