Whats the best way to get from LAX to our Anaheim area hotel? 1 adult and 2 kids

there is a shuttle, i believe. You'll have to google it as i don't know much more than that.

PrimeTime Shuttle is reasonable and they do not wait forever or circle the airport to fill the vans. Lots of folks take the Disneyland Express Bus, which is on a fixed schedule. You can find discounts for both of these.

I've taken SuperShuttle (shared van service) from LAX to DLR in the past. It was pretty cheap (about $17 per person), but fairly slow. Overall, it took about 1.5 hours from pick-up to drop-off. The first half was spent at LAX picking up other guests (I was the first one picked-up, so at least I got my choice of seats!).

Based on the information from the LAX website, yes, Uber (and Lyft) are both allowed to pick-up and drop-off passengers.
