Laundry facilities at Universal Hotels

If I remember correctly it was a pain to do laundry while staying at Universal hotels.

In the past it was Portofino but this time we are trying a 2 bedroom at the Endless Summer Surfside and since this hotel is touted as a family spot instead of luxury I expect there will be laundry facilities. Still, when we were at the WDW Port Orleans in the spring I did the research came with quarters & I was shocked and annoyed they did not take cash when I got there. To do laundry I was forced me to use an app that then immediately shared my info with some website that started trying to sell me stuff so I needed to cancel the card because it was compromised grrrr... still salty over it. Anyway, this time I figured I should ask so I know what other people's experiences are using the facilities at Universal these days. Thanks!

Portofino has a self service guest laundry. My memory is it was cashless. I think I used a pay station, not an app.

Portofino is cashless and you can`t charge to your room either.

I do know RPR and Sapphire take cash or card, very easy to use the laundry rooms in both.

RPR laundry rooms are fairly small with 3 washers/dryers in each, Sapphire`s are much larger.

I`m not sure about HRH though.
