After a lovely big sleep, we woke up the next morning at 7.30am to a knock on our door. Who could that be, auughhhh!? And then we remembered - our room service breakfast! Yayyyyyy!!
Don't you just love room service!? I do!! It's one of my favourite things about staying in a hotel. Sitting up in bed in your pyjamas, eating breakfast!! What could be better than that!?
I had French Toast and Conan had the pancakes, and they were both pretty good!! But do you know what!? We were both still FULL! Deluxe Dining and us just wasn't a very good mix!
After breakfast, we got ready pretty quickly and headed out the door - we were off to Epcot for the day! Yahoooooo! I was feeling much better than the day before. My tummy was still a bit off, but the cramps and horrible pains had gone. Phew!! Free to enjoy our big day at Epcot!!
We made it to Epcot by opening time, which was 9am. I think there was an opening show, because I caught a glimpse of Goofy and Donald at one stage - but we really couldn't see a thing!! I have never seen so many people at a park opening before! It was CRAZY!! Maybe that's just what it's usually like and we've been lucky!? I don't know! There were masses of people everywhere and we were stuck in the middle of a huge crowd and couldn't move. Huh!!
That being said though, it was the Sunday of the Martin Luther King long weekend, so it was always going to be busy. That's why we got there early! Eeek!
So when the clock struck 9am, we trudged along with three-quarters of the crowd towards The Land - our mission was Soarin' fastpasses, of course!! Weeeeee! When we got to the fastpass line, of course we chose the slowest line. Heh. I always seem to get stuck behind the person holding 481 cards, collecting fastpasses for the whole tour group. Seriously. It was ridiculous!!! I reckon there should be a rule about that. Like, the maximum number of fastpasses you can get should be 10 or something! We stood there for at least 5 minutes while she put her 843 cards through. Aughgheghghghhhhh!!!
We FINALLY got to the front of the line and got our two fastpasses, for a return time of 10.10. Not too bad! Phew!!
Where to next then!? We decided to calm down a bit and visit The Seas with Nemo! We love Nemo!! I especially love Dory... and look, I was wearing my Dory shirt! I'd made this on Zazzle too. It says, "Just keep swimming..." Hehee! I love my Dory shirt. Even now, after a long day at work, I come home and put my Dory shirt on and it cheers me up! Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
A nice CM popped over and offered to take our photo together. Yay!
The Nemo ride was new for us - it wasn't there in 2006 when we visited last, and we were both keen to ride it! We had no wait at all - perfect! We hopped into our clam mobile, and we were off! The ride was very cute. Not the most exciting ride ever, but still very cute. Here we are in our clam, enjoying the ride...
We had a look around the aquarium area next - something we didn't do last time, for some reason. The dolphins are amazing!! We spent a good 15 minutes watching them. And they certainly watched us too! It was nice and quiet there, early in the morning - there was only one other family there the whole time we were there! Here's my hand, saying hi to a friendly Disney dolphin...
Hi there!!
Here's me with my new friends, the fishies. I think they liked me because of my inspirational top. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
Crush!! Righteous, righteous!!!!
Can you tell we had fun in The Seas?! We really did. It was relaxing and quiet and fun! I love sea animals anyway, but it was even better because there was hardly anybody else around. Just us and the fishes!
Next it was time for....
Yahoooooo!!! We love Crush!! It was one of our favourite attractions in 2006, and we couldn't wait to do it again. I still don't know how it works, and I don't think I want to! It's Disney magic, right!?
Here he is... duuuudes....
Conan was dying for me to put my hand up and tell him I was wearing a Dory shirt. Hehehee. I so wasn't going to do that. But here she is! Little Blue! Yahoooooo! (Except she's being squished by the whale...)
Crush was just as fun as we remembered. It really is one of my favourite Disney attractions!
We had one last little look around The Seas area, and then realised it was time to use our Soooooaaaarin' fastpasses. Yayyy!
We ended up waiting for about 15 minutes in the fastpass line. Whew, Soarin' was popular that morning!! But the ride was worth it, of course! It's so much fun!! We were determined to smell the smells this time, and we did! I could ride Soarin' over and over again. If only the wait wasn't always so long!
We continued on our commando mission style exploration of Epcot, and decided to head over to Test Track to pick up some fastpasses. The wait time to ride was already up to 50 minutes, wah!! Once we had our fastpasses, we headed over to Spaceship Earth to see how long the line was... 40 minutes!!!

Really!?! Augh!
We decided to wait in the line anyway, since it would probably just get longer as the day went on. In the end, the wait was probably more like 20 minutes. Not that bad, really! And it gave us the chance to take lots of close-up photos like this!
I love the new additions to Spaceship Earth!! I liked the old ride anyway, but the new parts are fun! Here's our future...
We'll take lots of trips...
I'm not really sure what this one is. Conan will play chess with another lady and I'll stand by watching, with my hands on my hips!?
We'll go flying in our new spaceship a lot...
And we'll get to be spacemen! Woohoo!
The big area when you hop off the ride is pretty cool too. Conan loved the big screen that shows where everybody is from - there were only a couple of people from Australia that day! He also loved the little games you could play, especially the car racing ones...
So far, so good! We'd had a fun morning in Epcot so far, even though it was very busy!
Next up... More Epcot! Spitting out coke, devouring cheese soup, and... what's that in the sky!?
