Latest Vacation Magic - What Did You Think?

Hey guys!

I thought that the new "version" of Vacation Magic in the latest edition was a big improvement over the old. What did you think?

My choice wasn't in your poll. I read it cover to cover and didn't like it as much as the old ones. I liked how the old VM's had a page on each of the resorts with specific info on what was going on. This one had some good information that I liked but it seemed like more of an advertisement to go to WDW than the information bulletin that I was used to.

I felt mine was really taunting me!

We just returned home from our first stay at BCV, (our home resort, purchased last fall), bummed to have left such a wonderful place where we had a fantastic time (it rained the entire drive home, adding to the depressing atmosphere of departing)....and then, the white envelope sitting at the bottom of the mail pile gets opened and colored pictures of WDW are everywhere, along with smiling happy faces....which are no longer ours. WAH!

I honestly didn't know there was a difference. But then I usually will ask my wife 20 times at dinner which server is ours because I don't pay attention to the little details, and am easily distracted by shiny objects.

I guess I don't spend that much time on it to notice! I just look for any bits of info I need and move on.

I brought the 2 latest editions with me to Floriday last week. One for the information regarding the flower show, and one to show my sister our picture with our mom that was in it! DSis was surprised one day at work earlier last month when a co-worker came over to her and told her he saw her picture in the VM and she was surprised. She had no idea he was a DVC member, and then he recognized her, to boot!

I couldn't vote as I still have not received mine yet. I did call MS and was told by the CM on the phone her parents who live in FL just got theirs. I don't know what is going on but it's hard to see how my dues are being spent on something I don't receive unless I call and request it be mailed to me--and no my address is not different, it's the same as I have had for a few years and I even received the DVD so they do have it on file correctly.
