We've just changed around some ADRs and was interested in a late lunch. The latest lunch we could get was at 1:40p, the last available ADR time.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced something along these lines, whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and if you noticed a decline in your food/service/expereince. It's at the Concourse Steak House at the Contemporary, so it's not a buffet nor a character meal.

Any insight would be great.. TIA

I've had a lot of experience with this at the Concourse and for the most part, it's business as usual. Occasionally, you'll get a cast member who's wanting to leave, but for the most part if you're having a leisurely lunch, they will typically start on their side work while you finish up. I've never really felt rushed, it's just that you can sometimes tell by how talkative they are whether they mind how long you hang out. The Concourse is my favorite lunch spot when I'm in MK - just a quick monorail ride over and a nice walk back.

We had a late dinner ADR at Whispering Canyon last August--I'm thinking it was around 9:30 PM. Well we ended up being late by at least 20 minutes. I was afraid they wouldn't even seat us, but they still did thankfully. Pretty much everyone else was already working on dessert, so by the time we got our entrees we had the place to ourselves. Our server was great and we didn't feel pressured at all. She did need to take our dessert order while we were still working on our entrees because the kitchen needed to close, but she was very nice about it and told us no pressure and to stay as long as we wanted (since we were so late and they were nice enough to seat us anyway, though, we tried not to stay too long). Once we were done with the meal and doing the bill one of the hosts came over and struck up a conversation with us.
