Later ADR's

I booked my Adr's for my Nov. trip. The latest I could get was for 5:05pm for Crystal Palace on a Thursday night and 5:20 for Liberty Tree Tavern on a Sat. The operating hours aren't out yet and I am wondering if I will be able to get later sittings when they come out?

I'm having the same problem for 10/1 at Magic Kingdom. What's up??????????

I'm not sure how much later they'd even be.

The last few times we were at MK during the fall, normal closing time most nights was around 7pm. It would seem to me that an ADR beyond 6pm, if most take around an hour to eat, wouldn't be possible to ensure getting out by closing time.

I can understand for Thursday probably closing at 7 but on Sat. I expect that MK will be open at least until 9????

Magic Kingdom is open till 10 when I'll be there and taking nothing after 6! It's about 6 weeks out.

I would not worry about the earlier time- it's an approximate.
With a 5:20 PM you may not be sat at a table till 6:00 PM.

If you did a 6:30 PM - and many people are eating - you could wait a good 30 to 40 minutes.

It is not a reservation - just a time slot.

We have a Bug-a-Boo's Steak house here in NY.
If you do a call-ahead - like the ADR's - when you arrive you get a pager.
A call- ahead may wait 25 minutes for a table at Bug-a-Boo's. A non-call ahead may wait an hour for a table.

Likewise at WDW - no ADR may mean NO table.
An ADR for everyone going to dinner means - maybe 20 families each time slot.
May mean a wait if a later ADR time.

Just some thoughts.

you must go when it is crowded!!

this will not be the case in off season - we are always sat within 5 minutes of arriving!!!!

We go at the end of June - when NY schools - and all other schools - are on summer break. We stay through 4th of July.
Crowds, rain - but LOTS of FUN !

Yes crowds - but we like ADR's (old PS's) to have an A/C sit-down meal. We do not mind a wait - epecially inside Cindy's A/C downstairs or LLT A/C lobby area....
