Late spring 2025 incentives (April 29-July 14)

My understanding is that once you’re in the park, there are no more tiers. I think that’s what you are saying.
Sadly, for whatever reason, being in the park is not good enough, you must touch the tap points on one of your first 3 LLs before you can unlock additional tier 1s. I believe I also learned the hard way that the other tier 1s don’t unlock until you reach the second tap point for LLs that have a second tap point.

Yes, in the park and have a free LL slot opened up by tapping into a ride.

I wonder what percentage of early Remy FP’s are going to BCV/BWV/S/D guests who don’t really care that much about the ride but want to unlock their LLMP as quickly as they can without walking to Frozen or …. Figment? Are those really the two closest FP options? 😬

The me of even 3 or 4 years ago would be shocked to hear me say this now but hear me out: for the consummate Disney park goer, summer WDW trips are actually kind of appealing. It’s generally a slower time in the parks (outside of July4) and the summer heat forces us to really slow down. We find we really enjoy the resorts so much more during summer and actually utilize all the amenities and relax so much more than usual, especially now that we stay deluxe, it’s a treat to be back at the hotels.

We do a couple of leisure park hours early (will literally go and sit in front of the spitting camel with a dole whip for at least 30mins laughing the whole time at everyone getting surprise spit on), go back to the hotel for a good 5 or 6 hours, nap/have a good meal/pool time, then go back later in the evening for a few more rides and vibes. Idk somehow the warm, muggy summer night air feels like my best childhood memories. We went for 10 days end of June/4th of July last year and then again for 5days in early September and can’t believe we loved it both times.

I know this still isn’t for everyone and I wouldn’t say this if we didn’t also have APs and don’t feel like we’re wasting park tickets (another point to DVC) but it is so much better than you might think it would be. Just have to change the type of trip you’re gonna have, and it’s way less about getting everything done in the parks and more slowing down and enjoying the Disney bubble as a whole.

As an aside, I hate the new LL system because it won’t let you stack rides anymore. It feels like it punishes people who don’t rope drop. We used to stack a ton of rides for the last 3-4 hours of the night and never felt any pressure to do anything specific in the mornings. Just wish they’d let us pick a new LL every 2 hrs like it did previously. Doesn’t mean we’ll get everything we want but at least can have more than 3 rides set up for when we come back to the park in the evening. But other than that no longer going for it, summer trips can be surprisingly pretty great!

Could not agree more - we go for two weeks every August. That trip replaced our October trip after several years of equally unbearable humidity and hurricanes - figured if you’re going to battle them anyway, why not go when the crowds aren’t as bad. We love it!

The tiers are not opened by letting something expire. In your scenario you could not book another tier 1 until you used the expired Space Mountain OR a tier 2 you also have booked. Using a tier 2 will also allow you to book another tier 1. That's why some people book a throwaway LL for the first attraction they can find near the park entrance so they can run in, tap, and are then free to book anything they want throughout the day regardless of tier so long as they only hold 3 active LLMP.

You don’t have to even tap. We changed to a tier 1 second right after scanning into the park.

Yep.

Had you already had one expire? My understanding (and experience as of last year) was that you could not change T2s into additional T1s until you tapped in to the first LL.
Rereading what I wrote last night given your scenario you COULD have booked another tier 1 since it was a tier 1 that expired. You just couldn't open your tiers and have all tier 1s by allowing Space Mountain to expire. You would still be subject to the LLMP tier restrictions similar to when you first booked them before arrival. 1 tier 1 and 2 tier 2s. I was elaborating on the fact that one ride expiring doesn't open the tiers so you could hold three tier 1s. I will update that for clarity.

This would also be the case if you booked a tier 1 at park open and it didn't open when scheduled. For example if you had Remy 9 - 10am and it converted to an anytime LLMP you could book another tier 1 or modify a tier 2 to a tier 1, but you're still limited in holding 1 tier 1 and 2 tier 2s until you use any of the LLMP. Using the anytime LLMP does not open the tiers. This may be what @Sandisw was referring to.

What I did was book Muppets at HS and then we decided we didn’t want to do it…had not tapped into Mickeys and Minnie’s yet or any other.

Checked and changed that to Frozen in Epcot before doing any….had just tapped into HS and were waiting in line for SDD.

So, our experience was once in the park, we unlocked all rides and no more tiers

You guys are killing me with the LL talk, I keep thinking there's some new incentive announced when I see a notification for thread activity.
Additional incentives would only be $500-$1500 max for various memberships.. D23, Visa, AP, MK. So dont get too excited unless 1500 would get the job done for you to buy direct until the next round of main incentives are released.

Hopping may be the key here picking up an Epcot attraction while being tapped into DHS.

If you were in MK and entered with a Tiana LLMP I do not believe the system would allow you to swap our Little Mermaid for Space Mountain and Small World for Peter Pan before using any of the LLMP unless there has been a significant change to the way the LLMP system operates.

I understand that but in past incentive cycles they've added sold out resorts in the middle randomly so there are things that could change besides what they posted on day one.

I have reports others have that experience within same park. . The tiers are required for the advance.

But, once tapped, it is supposed to open all of them.

I will try the next time I’m in the park.

Yeah that is very odd, it is supposed to be when you redeem your first LL that everything unlocks, not when you tap into a park. Which is what I experienced on our last trip.

  • Plan ahead of your visit and choose up to 3 multi pass experiences and arrival windows in a theme park.
  • Once you’re in the park and you enjoy your first multi pass experience, you may be able to make an additional selection (subject to availability). If your park admission includes Park Hopper benefits, you can even choose from multi pass experiences in other parks.

I’m wondering if it was because they already had one expired LL? (muppets)

I have always heard the same thing about needing to use up one of the LLs before opening the ability to book Tier 1s in all 3 slots.

Nope that shouldn't work. If your first one expires it is supposed to let you choose another in the same park but not unlock any other parks or tiers yet. I have seen where people experimented and that should not work, unless they recently just changed the system somehow

Wow! Thank you for sharing and testing again for us!

This is what I was thinking. It may or may not have even been intentional, but if it works that is great to hear!

There's an extra $1000 discount for current annual passholders at Riviera, Polynesian, and Fort Wilderness. Appears to require a purchase of 100 points:

All Tours must be completed by July 14, 2025, when the offer expires. If Tour occurs on or after July 8, 2025, offer expires 7 days after Tour. Offer end date is subject to change.
