Late September weather?

How is the weather late September? We will be heading down to Florida for the last week of September, usually we only go in January. How hot? Still raining?

We've been in late September, early October four times. The weather is still hot, and great for swimming. We only had ran 2 days out of all the times we were there, so I think it must be somewhat less than in the summer. Great time to go!!

We were down in the world the Sept 21 through Oct 2 or so of 2003.

I wouldn't call it a HOT week...but the weather was nice. We had a few rainy days, if I remember correctly - but it definetly was not SUPER HOT. I think we only went swimming once or twice. Some mornings I actually needed a sweatshirt as it was cool out.

But on the upside - there were very little lines!

OMG! We were there Sept 20-25 2003 and it was SWELTERING IMO. Only rained once the first day we were there. Im Irish so I cant tolerate that kind of humidity. Not in my genetic makeup.

still gets pretty hot and humid (and i'm from TX)......I've laid out by the pool in december there even cuz it was still warm.

Typically Sept. until mid Oct. is very hot and very humid and rainy too! The rain tends to taper off ny Oct. I remember this past Sept. being out of the ordinary. It is however a great time to visit WDW, low crowds, great swimming when it isn't raining.

We were there Sept 21- 29, 2003. It was definitely summer-like in terms of temperatures, but only "super hot and humid" on one day (IMO, but then again I'm from the south ). We had rain 3-4 days we were there, but it was very short-lived each time. 30 minutes tops.

I was there from the 23rd till 29 and it was perfect. I don't thinkit was too hot at all. It rained everyday but for only a short time. Most times it was still ok to swim at night

Been there the 3rd -- 4th week in Sept three times in the last 10 years. I consider it hot and humid (not like August, though). About 90 degrees, and be prepared for showers ---- usually brief, but a few torential downpours for a short time. Crowds were low the years we went, which is a big advantage. It's a great time to go, but I still have to pace myself in the heat.

funny - so many of us were there around the 21 - end of september 2003 and have such varying opinions about the weather! heheh

And I was coming from New England! Probably the coolest section of the country at the time! And I didn't find it uncomfortably hot at all!

We were there the second week in May and the weather was awesome.We did not have any rain the whole week.The heat was not to bad either.
