late-night transportation question

I'm staying at ASMu and am taking a day to explore the MK-area resorts. I plan to make a 7:30 or 8:00 PS for 'Ohana and check out the Water Pageant afterwards. IIRC, I can then take a bus from the Poly to Downtown Disney and switch to the ASMu bus there. PLEASE, correct me if I'm wrong, or if there is a better route. Thanks!!!

If you are going at a time when the MK is open late you can hop the launch or the monorail back to the MK and get the All Star bus from there. This will be a lot quicker if it is a time when the MK is open late.

Assuming MK is closed, you have the best possible route

Thank you! It would be nice if the MK were still open, but I also want to have a plan in case it is not. Either way, I win: a shorter ride back to bedtime, or a little extra shopping time.
