Late night magic hours

Has anyone experienced the late night magic hours? I was wondering if the park with the late hours really seems less crowded or if the benefit is outweighed by the fact that everyone staying on site goes there then. We have always taken advantage of the early entry days, but I would certainly rather sleep in a bit and take advantage of the parks late at night instead. I just wonder if it is really less crowded. Any thoughts?

I understand that the early morning hour is very good and not crowded, but the evening hours are running pretty busy! Although, patterns can change at any time, this was the latest info I have on it.

i found the parks to be less crowed! and we were there in the summer...so it was much cooler!

I was at MK last Wednesday (3/2) for EMH (7 to 10). It was very crowded.

By the way, was also at MK today (3/7). It was a total zoo! Huge lines to get in around 10:00am. At noon, Space Mt was a 55 minute wait, along with Pooh & PP. You knew it was crowded when Snow White had a long line.

I think it might depend on how late EMH is. We went on 2/23 to MK from midnight to 3am. It was really quiet. We walked on to everything. Aladdin was even full, we were allowed to stay on our carpet for multiple rides in a row.
